Cannot level- any ideas? It just will not go low enough. Leveled fine the other day, first print was fine, but I got unlevel removing the print , now I cannot lower the plate enough. Guessing it is related to the sensor in the back ? But I don’t see what’s tripping it. There is a metal bar thing that sticks down but I think that is normal? Any ideas? Thanks all

How does everyone level their plate. I've seen and tried many ways but I have a different way now that works fantastic.

I loosen the setscrew
then home the plate
Usually have about 2mm left to lower till its completely tight and flat to the glass while it's on the glass. I tighten the plate then raise it about .5mm so the paper is loose enuff to slide out but won't easily push back thru and zero
Idk if it'll help anyone but it's pretty damn easy and I haven't had a fail since even got non supported parts to print direct on the plate fucking fantastic

oh I did sand the plate before starting this new zeroing shit was warped in the middle

Question: So after only one print (it failed), my buildplate is this far from the screen. I press home, and this is where it stops. I have leveled it multiple times, but the past many times after a print, it is "far from home". Any idea what causes this?

This is my first print after the test cube. I present to you: The invisible Goblin!!!! I cannot believe the amount of details. Pure joy to print. You can see all the small details around the left eye!!! But you have to use your imagination a bit!!!

I'm not angry cause this is only for fun. I'm getting experience and it is ok to fail.

Printed with Elegoo clear resin. Bottom Exposure time 80 - Bottom Layer 8 - Layer thickness 0.05 - Normal exposure 5 - Off time 2.

The figure was lying flat on his back with not inclination. Will try to slice again and have at least 45 degrees on the position of the figure to print.

Woohoo got a print finally. Had to replace the fep due to a bad divet from removing a failed. Did the usual and releveled again as the failure looked like bad 0 setting. Forgot to tighten the vat down and had the fep go again due to the failed print. Fixed that and it WORKED yeah. So happy now to see if things print with out having to change settings for change of resin'

So that printer that I posted some time ago about (10.1" sub 600$) is online now on kickstarter. I'm not sure i'd back them considering its their first project and I don't feel 100% confident about some of the claims, but if they do deliver, the price is very good for a resin printer with this build size.

There seems to still be some spots on the $599 tier if anyone is willing to take a chance ?
