I would like to make a request of anyone using the original photon with monocure resins. Preferable clear but any color will work in that line.

Could one of you slice a mini model you have successfully printed and shoot me the .photon file? I don't really care which model it is. I want to test if it's my settings causing problems or what.

Hey guys, so after a failed print I’ve tried the altLabs Photon Resin Calibration test, and this is what I got. Given the base is almost perfect, I’m thinking it’s not a bed level issue? Using Anycubic White

So I've hit an issue that's stumped me. Photon suddenly wouldn't print a file. Reset it, then the LCD would show the main screen with the files, but the LCD isnt responding to touch. Tried flashing the firmware, no luck. Tried checking and reformatting the USB stick, also no luck. Any idea what the issue might be?

Thanks for the add... just ordered my printer and bottle of their new plant based uv resin... been watching lots of videos so pulled the trigger on this.. So from what I've watched so far I'll need to buy or build a simple uv curing setup? So without posting links, I found a "Curing Light Solar Powered Rotary Display Stand Turntable Kit for SLA DLP 3D Printer " for $33 . I assume this would fit the bill, or simply set outside, but I wouldn't want them to get dirty etc.. So what else besides rubbing alcohol will I be needing to purchase? What consumables? (besides gloves etc) . I found a good shared google doc listing many resin types and multiple settings people suggest, im sure that will be useful, I'm confused with all the resins though any why some wont work etc.. and what happens if the setting simply is not right? Does the unit have built in settings for various resins perhaps? I'd like a tough resign to make things like keychains, and things that might be outdoors in the elements.. can anyone suggest some and why? I saw formlabs I believe it was tough resin but it was like $145 If my memory serves me... isn't there others that are durable... Don't want just a toy with things that break easy... After curing etc, how many of you paint your items, any specifics on types of paints to use?

Hey all! I need help from the hive mind. All my latest prints are not just failing, but not printing at all! The Anycubic UV resin isn't hardening or anything. I'll print for an hour, pause, and nada. Not even in the vat.

I have tried shaking the crap out of the bottle, cleaning again and again, and changing the FEP. The Zero was perfect. I hadn't had any issues until a few days ago. The LED light looks fine to me.

It's currently 74° F, which is barely below optimal from what I've read, but it hasn't been a problem. Anyone know what's up?

Received my Photon S tonight. Set it up per the instructions. The USB stick which came with the printer lights up when plugged into it but there are no files detected under the Print window. The files appear when I put it into my PC.

I tried a second USB with the firmware updates and again, no files detected when I plug it into the Photon.

I contacted Anycubic but thought I would ping the hivemind to see if this is a common problem and/or there is a workaround. Thanks.

Why is it that Anycubic is not responding to tickets??

received my Photon S and have had nothing but trouble with it since day one. About ready to send it to the scrap yard and buy a better machine (NOT AN ANYCUBIC EVER Again)

And the issues continue. Can someone explain to me why this is happening? The bed is level, evident by the base layer (which is perfectly flat and the same height across the bed), yet certain prints just won't stick. I've tried thicker support material, but as you can see, that hasn't made a change and pieces still arent sticking. I really need help here, because I'm honestly starting to get really frustrated with these printers. I've been doing prints of these mirrors for months and have never had this issue before. Now all of a sudden I can't print them out. Could this be a temperature problem? Please offer your solutions below, thankyou..

Does anyone own a Photon AND an Elegoo Mars or Photon S? Is there a difference in print time and print quality between them? I'm looking at getting a second printer, and if spending a little more means quicker prints it might be worth it. Otherwise, I'll stick to the OG Photon.
