I would never buy Elegoo (gray) resin again.
I wanted to try the Elegoo Gray, but after two bottles both leaving my prints tacky, even after an entire day in the sun, I am switching back to Anycubic Gray. I also dont get the finer details on small prints using Elegoo... All my prints seem to be rather "soft" in appearance.
I let Elegoo know, and they are sending me a new bottle. So that is cool of them. I am hoping that maybe the new UV lamp I have coming will cure them better. Here's hoping. But yeah, after this... it's back to Anycubic for me.
(I do know some use and love Elegoo, I am just stating my personal experience with it)

Is an ultrasonic cleaner really worth the cost?

Im trying to keep costs down as I just bought another printer this month. So I am wondering... is an ultrasonic cleaner worth buying? I mean, what can it do that I cannot? Does it clean that much better?
I see a lot of people use them.

I am sure there is someone else wondering this as well. :)

Hi Guys,

I ordered my Photon S on Singles Day and it arrived yesterday.

I live in a Household with a central ventilation system, so I decided to put the printer in a Box in my garage and put a heater in the box.

Do I need, for saftey measures, to put ventilation holes in this box, to ensure a save airflow?

Or is a "sealed" box okay?

Guys - I've been exploring Makehuman as a source of figures. All seems pretty good, and there's an Export as STL file option which - almost - works. I'm finding holes in the figures when I import them Chitubox. Anyone tell me how to remove the holes? I know it makes a big difference if you smooth the Makehuman file first, which I've done. But I still get the holes.
