I totally give up. I’ve been getting nothing but failed prints. The first few layers will print and then nothing. I am using my tried and tested profiles from the photonsters github which have worked on previous models. Can anyone suggest reasons this is happening. We just hit winter here but it’s in my basement and we keep the house pretty warm because of my toddler.

Hello,
I’m new to Anycubic. I have photon S and it produce non accurate results. I have tried to print a two parts complex mold with Anet A6 FDM printer and the same object was printed with photon S. I have found the I can completely close the two parts of the mold with no gap or interferences with the FDM printer while for photon S there is a gap an incomplete contact of the opposing surfaces!
Any suggestions!

Hi everyone
Thanks for the add, first post.
Total noob, Photon owner
I’ve tried JFGI, search online till my eyes hurt. I’m so new I don’t know if I finding the correct answers or not ?

Basically my prints aren’t sticking. I haven’t had a success yet. Just getting pancakes stuck to the vat. (If I hear “that’s not 3D” one more time) ?
Green resin (exp April 2020)
Tried the factory photon slicer setting.
Tried some settings I found online ( in pic)

I don’t know if my Photon is defective or if my structures aren’t correct and it’s not adhering or if it’s the settings or I’m not leveling correctly.

I’ve tried the Flint Read method
The anycubic suggested method and the 3D print farm method. (Which I think is a bit tighter than anycubic)

Help a noob out. Am I doing wrong? Or my printer.

Edit * bought this from a “reseller” open box, no usb, DL’d Photon slicer.

Okay folks, my two (s)cents, as someone who has worked profesionally (and as a hobby) with resins ; don't experiment with your resins and their smell. Ventilate, filter, purge, contain, but don't mask. Cyanide smells like almonds, but it's not something you want to huff. Same goes for resins...

Hi all.

For each print I make, which are always successful, I always find thin pieces of resin almost solidified with fep.
And I don't understand why.
The prints are good, complete, there are no errors, missing pieces or anything else.
So, where do these semi-solidified residues come from?
I'm afraid it is a problem that could go to compromise future prints, even if it has always gone well for me.
Can it also depend on the cold? I mold on average at a temperature of 10/12 ° C by preheating the resin with a hair dryer, but still on 3/5-hour prints in that room it cools quickly.

First time adding support manually, I should’ve learned this sooner. Supports are symmetrical and uses less resin compared to auto support.

I was super happy with this print from today. 1/87 truck. I know the Photon is good but I was surprised the rivets on the side actually show up.

Elegoo Grey (with a tiny bit of leftover Anycubic Grey in the vat), 0.05 @ 11.5 seconds. Next step is the interior, and then some windows using clear resin

one of the photonsters 'known issues' is "Z motor stops moving mid-print, LCD keeps exposing resin, no error message, stopping print and moving Z via menu works."

anyone know if there are any firmwares that fix this? it's happened 3 times now, frustrating.
