So I've been trying to test print a model I made for a blade singer mini. 3 fails, releveled, retensioned. The third time I checked the settings. For some reason the settings got changed to 3 bottom layer and 30 second bottom exposure. I got to thinking about how this happened so I looked in chitubox. Same there. Then it donned on me. I recently updated chitubox. All models before it were pristine. Somehow the update messed with the settings. So heads up.

Chitu 1.6.1 some odd things happening with new update.

1. Most of my models, when opening, now have the wrong print settings.

2. Opening and STL doesnt not always open the file, have to try 2x or it will actually open the wrong file.

3. They mentioned having imported suggested settings for many resins from the manufacturers. I dont see those settings available.

anyone else notice anything odd or not working? think im going to roll back until fixes are made.

Hello, I am new to resin printing, and so far it is not going very well... I have already gone through the photonsters website, and tried the suggestions there. For some reason, I cannot get prints to stick to the bed. I got the test print to work once, so I thought I had finally figured it out. Then I tried to print a mini, and it has just gone down hill from there. The bed is perfectly level and tightened down (followed instructions and videos from the website to make sure I did this correctly), I filtered the resin and cleaned everything after each failed print, the FEP is tuned to the recommended Hertz, and the screen functions properly. They sent me the maroon resin instead of translucent green for some reason, so I increased my exposure times by 10 seconds per the website's suggestion. I am at a complete loss here... any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated...

Is there anything special you have to do to get this thing to recognize the usb or files. I sliced on Chitubox and plugged it in no files showing on printer not a whole lot of info on that part
