Like a few others, I just ordered a Photon for the Black Friday sale. I have been watching a bunch of Youtube videos to get up to speed. I did have a dumb question I was hoping the group could answer. A lot of the videos refer to the Photon as a DLP printer. However Anycubic's website advertise it as an SLA. Which is correct?

At what point should I consider replacing my FEP?

The damage is outside of the edge of the LCD and the FEP is still water tight. I always use a filter when putting resin back into the bottle, and just cracked open a new bottle prior to this failed print. (The print failure was likely due to temperature Flux last night. It's #27 of the same model/variant)

I've had a Photon for a while and love it. My prints have been coming out great. I know I do not have the latest firmware but have had no issues since I started other than the LCD going bad and replacing it. Should I upgrade the firmware?

Hi newbie here. First cube attempt with factory settings failed... The base of the printed object got stuck to the FEP film. Possible reasons. Bad leveling? 19 degree Celsius in the room? I detached the stuck resin in the FEP and cleaned it with PLA. What a mess!! The film is not as crystal clear now. It has like mist... is this normal?

Hi Folks and thanks for the add.

My first post to the group. I’m new to 3D printing and am finally using my Photon I bought about 10 months ago.

Can someone direct to a link or file that as anything on failed prints?

Most of my printed are failing and the resin is sticking to the FEP.

I’m sure I’m not the only one to have experienced this - looking for ideas as to how to minimize or eliminate this issue.

Just picked up some Siraya Fast grey and ran the exposure test. Still horrible at reading these so, not sure what setting to use. I'm thinking either column 6 or 7? But not sure since it's supposed to be "fast" and I already print great with Elegoo grey at 10s.

Why is Chitubox doing this, it adds random crosses and lines inside the hollowed out baby Yoda.
It als ignores my hollow settings when slicing...

I missed ot the first time, long story short, blob punctured the FEP. ?
