I am still fairly new to 3d printing and have been tinkering around for the last couple of years. I have recently been spending more time developing my skills in regards to settings and supports. I downloaded and printed this awesome tank this weekend and I noticed stepping on the top surfaces, while the other surfaces look great. How can I improve or eliminate this going forward? Hi everyone! I just got my Photon S in the mail about an hour ago. I'm working on assembly, and I've noticed I'm missing one of the screws that holds the resin vat in place.

Is this normal (I would assume not?)? Is there a type I can use in leiu of it? Any tips would be appreciated.

And yes, I've checked all of my packaging very thoroughly. I'm wondering if I should print anything or wait to get it replaced.

anybody ever try heat activated embossing powders on resin models? seems like it produces a really nice finish in small amounts.

Quick question on this... you see how some of the support Mark's fall outside the rectangle? How do those print? I'd there some overlap?

Remove the base so you do t have failures due to suction forces.

Can someone help me with an issue I'm having? I haven't printed in a couple months and when I stopped everything was working fine. I just attempted to print and my machine doesn't appear to see the files I have on the usb drive. It just shows black squares where it usually shows the files. Does this mean my usb is dead? If so do I need to do anything special to replace it?
