Got the bed leveled. The resin calibrator printed fully this time. But it didn't stick to the plate. But I decided to try for a model, anyway since I was going to bed. I woke up and checked on it about 2/3 of the way and it had stopped with a memory card error. I reset the card, hit print, and it resumed printing. A few hours later when I woke up again it said it was finished. But this is what I got. Not quite what I would called finished. I thought at first it must have run out of resin, but there was plenty in the vat. Any other ideas?

It looks like my Photon has a firmware version of 3.4.1 (UI is 2.6) AND the thing doesn't read .photon files. I also read that V 4.2.19 is buggy and to use 4.2.18. So can I just jump from the ancient 3.4.1 to the 4.2.18 in one step? Also, will 4.2.18 allow me to read the .photon files?

I have an obj file with a simple 3d model in it, when I open in the anycubic firmware it has a polygon shape, and same file inside the blender looks smooth. how to fix it so that it will print the same way as it looks in blender?

Hello Guys,

so i kinda lost the overview about what firmware is for what photon and so on.

I know i got an original Photon (got it over a year ago).

Whenever i turn the machine on i have to check wether the display works or not. For that i have to remove the vat and to the UV test over and over again.
It NEVER works on the first try and i have to restart the machine atleast 10-15 times until it works.

Can anyone tell me what Firmware is the best solution for that?
Btw. i already changed the mainboard as i thought it was broken and anycubic sent me a new one. This hasnt changed anything.

Calling all users of Monocure 3D Rapid Grey Resin!!!

I have been printing perfect prints using Prima Creator Value UV Resin Tough Light Grey on the Photon S but now I'm trying with the Monocure one but I'm having issues.

The print comes out OK but with a serious lack of detail on the side of the model facing the supports.

The other side is fine with good details but the side facing the supports almost looks like it's melted making the finished model almost useless.

Hope somebody out there has got some good tips on how to solve the issue so I can get though the Monocure Resin and go back to Prima Creator :P

I joined this group a few weeks ago and I have been reading and studying a lot mostly due to a torn achilles tendon. I am grateful for the all the posts and information in this group.
I am getting ready to start my first print using Anycubic Grey Resin. I have attached photos of my supports in chitubox, my settings for the printer and for the resin. Would you review and let me know if you think I have a high chance of success. I have seen a number of failed prints and I would like to avoid that as much as possible. I also turned on anti-aliasing and set it to level 4. My firmware and everything is all updated and ready to go as far as i know. I checked level and did everything per the instructions on youtube and other forums as well.
Should i tilt my project 45 degrees or so? Are my light supports good enough or should i add some heavy supports Is there any reason not to use the anti aliasing Slicing is only necessary for large files that don't fit the print area. Is this correct?

Help! Bluecast x10 printing failed/won’t stick to platform!

Printer Used: Anycubic Photon v5.5

Resin Used: Bluecast x10

Printer Settings: (see the pictures immediately below

Extended description:
I have tried many times and no matter what settings I choose, the print doesn't come out stuck to the platform (only one time has it come out successfully and stuck to the platform).
A lot of people have talked about this being a leveling issue but I haven't changed the leveling since the successful print.
Can you please share some tips or provide some advice about what I’m doing wrong?
