Dyna-soar in 172nd and 148th scale.
And while it is true I am taking many requests to design models for others at the heart of it only two of been on my mind from the beginning Skylab and the Boeing x20 Dyna-Soar.
Here we see the 172nd scale on the left and the 1/48 scale on the right. In the middle is a cutaway of the first and second stage of the Titan core stage.
While I printed the motors down to 1/200 scale much of the detail is forfeited by nature of resolution of the printer.

Has anyone else had a problem (when printing miniatures) of their feet sort of melting into the base they're standing on? This happens with the base printed flat to the build plate or raised on supports, printed completely straight or at an angle. I've no idea what the cause is; all other details look great and everything's at its place, but the feet are all sunken!

Well, the model is sticking to the build plate. That is definitely an improvement over last night. I'm printing the Photon cube. Looking at it coming up the right corner closest to the build plate is damaged. As it comes up I can see a wiggle- seen in the attached video. The printer is brand new, so it's probably not worn. But is this the notorious Z-wobble, or something else? I'm hoping it's something else, because I really don't want to take the machine apart.

Anyone know why this could have happened? I'm trying out different exposure times for this, some of it printed beautifully, some of it did not.
I'm guessing exposure time needs to go up?
