Hello!

Yesterday I've posted pictures sculpted Gerat of Rivia printed on my Photon. Some of You was interested in buying STL's of him. So - here it goes :)

What do you get for $15:

- Geralt of Rivia bust in STL files in about 1/9 scale (default size is 9cm from top to bottom, you can of course resize it as you want)

- pdf with info and manual

- three options of printing hair with head (all merged, lower part of hair separated, lower hair part divided to 3 parts - all explained in manual)

- two options of printing shoulder pads (explained in manual)

zipped archive is about 55MB

I added base and sword on the back. So now you get more ;) If anyone bought it already - af course you get additional parts for free on request :)

Is there some trick to curing ABS-like resin? I've tried everything I can think of, including:

IPA wash and rinse alone.
IPA wash, followed by ultrasonic with Mr. Clean.
Ultrasonic with Mr. Clean alone.

Followed by curing under bright sunlight for varying lengths of time, up to and including hours, or curing under a manicure light for long periods, or both together.

I still end up with a slick, sticky feeling oily sheen. Note that this isn't consistent. Some prints cure just fine, albeit after more extensive curing than would be necessary for ordinary resin. But some prints just don't. Am I missing something, or is this just the nature of the resin?

So over a few prints I've had portions of the middle just not print, although what looks to be light leakage is new. Is it time for a new LCD? I did the little exposure test and didn't see anything wrong with it. I cleaned the screen before this print. Could this be a firmware issue? Thanks in advance

Well... tested my Z axis issue by swapping a motherboard with a friends and it looks like the issue. I'll have to do some searching to see if I can get a good deal on a new board. Otherwise I might just replace the printer. Any Recommendations on other resin printers I should look into if that becomes the case?
