I wanted to share my OG Photon mod journey so far. Disclaimer: This will break your stuff and throw away your money. May not be worth it.
I was not 100% happy with print quality, so I did some mods! Twin Rail Z Slide Upgrade by Jackson Product. LCD direct to FEP. For the LCD mod, I got the idea from another Photonster post. What I did: Flipped LCD backwards and cut glass so the cable(ribbon) could still feed through. Printed a spacer(Washer) to fill the space of the missing LCD Sealed the top with aluminum tape to block resin spills and UV leak. In addition to leveling out the lcd because it sticks out now Shoutout to Андрей Шестаков and @ Aleksey Kulagin

does anyone have thoughts on putting these into the inside faces of the printer for an attempt at temperature control in a cold garage? usb 5v heating pads, the sort used in gloves .

About to print a rather large solid print later today that will require a refill of the vat mid print. Are there any tips people could recommend to not got the line on the print? I thought about adding a few drops every 30 mins so the temp doesn't drop too much, thoughts? Thanks!

Ever smaller.
I have been asked by a number of people how small I think the motors for the Titan missile can be printed here I've taken it all the way down to 1/200 scale and this little dissertation explains the pitfalls oh printing it ever smaller scales
In resin you also have to consider the resolution of the image set the particular screen that you're using can produce. And it's obvious that smaller scales a regular cell phone screen loses detail as it moves down the scale.

I replaced my screen and since then nothing has stuck to the build plate. I've leveled after installing it 3 times. Just like I've leveled the machine every other time, only now no joy.
The footprint is still on the FEP, and not a very thick footprint maybe two or three sheets of paper .1mm or so.

Is it possible I've got a screen that's not going as transparent?

I'll try kicking up bottom exposure or try XP finder tomorrow. Dont feel like fishing out another failed print tonight.

Any other ideas?

Pushing the limits once again...worked...in N scale!!! This one has a movable/extendable boom, hinged bucket, swivel body and rolling wheels. A mix of Monocure blue, Siraya abs-like white, and Monocure flex (40-40-20) .04 @ 11 secs.
Now for the drop-kick-toss tests...
