Anycubic Photon Printer Owners 造訪社團

Hi All!
I got my Photon set up and printing. Test cube came out fine. I also did the xp resin test and the ameralabs city test. For the resin test I think 10 looked best but any other suggestions would be appreciated. The ameralabs test seemed to come out well on one side but other not as well. Wondering if maybe I didn’t rinse well? Any input would be great! Pics below.

I am using Siraya Tech Fast resin.

Hey all, I'm going to be looking for answers, but if anyone can point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it.

Bought a Photon ages ago, and I've been printing quite happily on the 4.2.1 firmware using the Anycubic Photon Slicer and I've ignored everything about upgrades and updates as the printer has been printing inside my needs.

Fast forward to now, I've been asked by a friend to print some minis, and the resolution I'm getting is okay, but not great. So I start looking around and see updates and Chitubox and all sorts of new things to mess with.

Where can I find accurate info about whether or not to upgrade to 4.2.19, what that will do to file formats, etc? I tried printing a file from Chitubox, but the printer said "Oh no."

Thanks all!

Has anyone tried the ELEGOO replacement screens? They claim they are compatible with anycubic photons

I'm going to try this and see what happens. I am looking for someone to create me a couple files that I will purchase of course and teach me how to 3D print as we go. I catch on quick and will pay what's necessary for your time.

I did this to my self ? ? ? . I had my photon for over a year. I had never had a fail print but I decided I need it to update the firmware to get better results. I never did any changes to the print settings or anything just send to print and get next day my print job. Now is been three times and just failures. What did change? First picture is my last work before failure.

Ok so after doing some more research and trial and error, I think I managed to get the build plate leveled and zero’d correctly!!

I set the exposure time at 10 seconds, and the plate is moving!

Didn’t fill it too high this time either!!

Learning new things that are tedious and time consuming are always fun for me!!!

Hopefully this test will come out good then I can start printing all the models I downloaded!!

Now I know that some builds require adding some supports if you build stuff at angles or that have thin areas that could sag during building, and if anyone can let me know the names of any user friendly programs it would be greatly appreciated!!

I am having trouble with printing. When ever I print a model and the model itself is touching the base the print comes out looking like it is melting. But when I raise the model 3mm with supports the model turns out fine. Can anyone explain this?

Just finished my first print. 80 percent Anycubic black, 20 percent Monocure Flex 100. It seems pretty durable with a nice bit of flex in it.

Looks good to me, although it might have spent a minute too long in the curing chamber.

Settings:

Thickness: 0.05

Normal Exposure Time: 15

Off time: 5

Bottom exposure time: 60

Bottom Layers: 10

Any suggestions welcome

I printed and painted up this Star Wars Rancor model over December as a gift and I just put out a video on how I painted it. It was a surprisingly simple one but I had fun painting it. you can find the video here. https://youtu.be/hHt_dm85kAc
