Tearing my hair out a bit.

The screen went on my Photon-s, so I replace it and since then, prints are pulling off their supports. Bed adhesion isn't a problem, but I think the prints are sticking to the FEP much more and pulling off the prints midway through.

Anyone come up against this? I've tried re-leveling, increasing exposure and I've just changed the FEP to see if that'll help.

I really don't want to have to re-support all my models with chunkier supports as I've got over 100 of them already presupported.

Grrr something keeps f*cking up my prints :( It should be four shallow cylinders with a supported latch to it. But after 1/3 of the cylinder height, the printer gos nuts. Any idea why? I used the same USB stick, I always do. Havent tried other models yet, but I have reformated the USB stick, cleaned the vat and releveled it. Also got a memory error of the end of a actually sucessfull print, but no error with the unsecessfully prints!

I have tried to put the phtonsters validator on my computer but have had no success. I download it and it just gives me a pack of files that show pictures and text but have not found the actual program. A little help for someone not so tech savy?

I am very excited to get started printing. I heard about a photon file validator. I am mostly going to be printing minis from Heroforge. Is the file validator a nicety or something I should really consider downloading?

Does anyone have an idea what’s causing this?

It seems to be a gel-like sheet of resin that forms on the prints and is also on the FEP.

I’ve done a dry run of the LCD and the pattern doesn’t seem to be blurred.

It almost seems like the UV light is diffusing through the resin while its printing and making “jelly”

I was looking online and found some existing models however I wanted something sturdy, modular and that could be dissasembled and stored easily.

This stand has only 3 printed parts, and can be printed without supports. It can accomodate many bottle sizes and you can drill the PVC pipes to have preset levels for all your bottles.

Hardware needed:

Two 1" PVC pipes 16" long (25mm x 400mm)

Six 3/16x1/2" (M5x12mm) thumbscrews.

3/16 tap (M5)

Is there a clear resin that doesn’t yellow? Or is there something you guys do to prevent yellowing while curing?

Alright. Been a while since I needed help. Struggling with this simple print and I’ve tried just about everything. (Photo in the comments)

- Printing with standard Anycubic Translucent Green with 8sec exposure on 0.05mm layers with 6 bottom layers exposing 60sec each
- Verified that I am able to print other (much more complex) files just fine
- verified that others have had no trouble with this print ( https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3453131 )
- the print appears to go alright until the last several layers
- It is at least consistent and I get the same result every time
- Tried with and without supports
- Powered the machine off and on
- Re-leveled
- Verified slice file validity and even watched the printer print the last several layers.

Any advice is greatly appreciated as I thought this would be a quick no-stress print. I guess that’s what I get haha.
