Question:
I just printed a bunch of minis, together. The first picture below, shows the layout I made in Chitu. The second picture shows my print settings. I used Prusa for supports and sliced in Chitu, then tested in PFV. All model came out ok, except the 4 smaller ones along the bottom, they all stuck to the FEP, plus one end of the larger model was loose from the buildplate, but the model came out nice anyway. Any ideas why the smaller models would stick to the FEP, when the rest came out nice?

Is there a list of "essential/useful" items to purchase separately for the proton?, ordered silicone spatula, silicone & metal strainer, getting a new flash drive tonight (along with the printer and 5l of resin and 5 fep sheets) and a cake tray to stand it in?

Okay, I need some clarification. I received my Photon from my sons for Christmas, and the prints using Anycubic transparent yellow with the default slicer settings look great.

I bought a bottle of SainSmart grey resin, and that brand isn't listed on the spreadsheet. I am using the settings for Monoprice grey, but I'm not getting the ultra fine details that I had with the Anycubic resin.

Example: the Medieval Castle printed near perfectly in yellow. The sphere at the top of the center spire was even there. The same model in grey, and I lost all of the cones, and the sphere is gone.

Could this be just a small adjustment to exposure time? I have the standard Photon and I haven't tried Chitubox yet.

I'm at work now, so I can't add a photo, but I will later. Thanks in advance for any help.

Question: i think i need to lube the z axis rod its starting to squeak in certain areas as it goes down. what do you all recommend using ? somebody online mentioned this one Lucas Oil 10533 White Lithium Grease, any recommendations?

Hello everyone,

Recently downloaded the new Photon Workshop (v2.1.20.RC1) slicing software and tried to use the automatic support feature. It has added a few supports but it missed some obvious ones like the one circled in red. As it is now, the object is suspended in the air....

Used the automatic support feature with the old slicing software (Anycubic Photon Slicer v1.3.6) and added the support correctly.

Is there something am I missing?

Printer model is the old photon.
