I need to replace my stepper motor & lead screw on my Photon, which is the correct unit to replace it with? One says "T8" and another says "M8", are they the same?

Hi All,

I've just started printing out large models that are hollowed out. I'm afraid of not being able to cure the inside of the models. What technique are people using to cure the inside of a model?

I was looking for a very slim UV string light that I could slide into the drain hole, but I wasn't sure if the flat LEDs would fit inside the model.

What are you guys doing?

Can i use dye with any clear and white resin or are there specific resins used with dye?

Need a bit of science advice before I buy something stupid.
I'm looking at a 100w blacklight thinking "Oooh big number! That means it cures resin fast right?" but I hear that the optimal curing rate has to do with a specific wavelength. I'm not savvy on wattage or lighting or spectral science so could someone tell me if my reasoning is sound or not? Will a super powerful blacklight cure prints quickly and thoroughly?

This has to be the best item I have 3d printed..

We used really flexible resin. Fine tuned all the settings.

We did have a failed print on Christmas day 2017. But we went back to the drawing board and made sure all the settings were right and it stuck to the build plate. Took 9 months to print but was worth it.

The resin used what great and true to the manufactures word it grows in size.

Been told it take 18 year to cure. So far 1 year has passed so only another 17 to go!

So what's the go to Ultrasonic Cleaner on Amazon people are using? I've only ever had a small cheap jewelry one from Wal-Mart because I didn't print that much or that big of models but finally time to upgrade. Looking around $150 atm if possible.

Hey guys and gals. Well my epax x1 is set to arrive on Saturday, I've had a pla printer for a year now and I'm so excited and a little nervous all at the same time. I'm looking at printing miniatures mainly but can't wait to see what it can do.

I've ordered resin. I'm set for gloves, got some iso coming for clean up.

What else should I be thinking about with this imminent arrival.
