Okay so now I think I'm just being stupid this is the Titan motors at 1/1 44th and the dream chaser at 1/72nd scale. And I think I'm starting to reach a physical end of print limit. But then again I keep telling myself that and keep trying anyway. Onward and upward everyone have a good 2020. If you don't try new things you'll never know if you can do new things.

I've been having a few issues with the raft/support base partially falling off the build plate, seemingly mid print. As you can see in the pictures below, half the raft is very thin and seperated from the build plate. This means some of the pieces fuse togther or fail completely.

Could this be an issue with the screen being obscured? I had a resin spill a few weeks ago that I thought I had cleaned properly.

Let’s talk paint.

I have been recommended to get the Army Painter uniform grey colour primer.

But what acrylics do you use for painting the models?

Still in process of sorting my set up so not done my first print yet. Almost ready though. ?

Ok, so now i's time for my first real learning-experiense.

Yesterday I printed the Anycubic grid-cube, which came out perfect, so the machine works and is levelled correctly.
Today I went for this: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3981668
Passive coal filter for my Photon, and that came out as you'll see below.

The top surface in the middle picture, is the bottom layer. I levelled this with the build plate in my slicer, so did not angle my print. Didn't use any supports either, since the instructions in Thingiverse said it was not necessary.

First thing I notice is that a corner of the bottom layer had come loose from the build plate. After that, the entire box became warped, as in picture 2 and 3. The inside top and bottom surfaces of the box are flaky and layered, resembling Danish Pastry.

My print settings are as follows:
L Height: 0.05
Bottom L Count: 6
Exposure time: 10s
Bottom Exposure time: 75s
Light off delay: 0s
Bottom LoD: 0s
Bottom lift distance: 5mm
Lifting distance: 5mm
Bottom lift speed: 65 mm/min
Lifting speed: 65 mm/min
Retract speed: 150 mm/min

And I use Anycubic standard grey resin.

Any ideas?!? 翻譯年糕

Thinking about buying a resin printer. I have a garage but its not heated really. How would the cold affect printable material. Was thinking about using heated mats in a cubberd or buld a box for it that I can also use as a spray booth. Would use mostly for minis and DnD stuff. But cold rooms how does it affect resins and build quality. Thanks for your time.

And so another successful attempt. So this is the final part layout of the 1/48th Atlas / Murcury capsual kit. The gray parts are resin and the yellow is PLA a type of filament used in an fdm printer. The material has a little more give to it and will make a much better Bass.

I just pulled a print off my build plate this morning. It all printed well, however, I noticed that on one side, it could have just as easily have pulled off the build plate.
I typically use Anycubic Gray in my Photon, but this time I used Elegoo Maroon.
I am assuming I need to adjust a setting or two?
Would that be BOTTOM EXPOSURE TIME?
Am I right? And if so... would 80 do it? Or should I go 75? 90?
