I was so excited I wanted to print this guy but all I hear is a ‘suction’ noise then when I check the print the raft is stuck to the FEP ?

I have levelled several times and got the paper really tight now.

I’m using Anycubic Black. Tried layer height of 0.02 first them dropped it to 0.04. Tried both 60 and 80 seconds on the base layers and 8 and 10 seconds on the rest (although with raft on FEP I figure the rest is irrelevant right now).

Ambient temp is circa 15 degrees C (although seems warmer near the machine.

Am I missing anything?

Trying the anycubic demo now just to see if that will print... So far I can still hear it ‘popping’. So perhaps it’s the shape of the raft or is it more likely I just need to use the same settings as the cube?

So for those that hollow. Should I use the inlay 3d grid in the slicer settings or should I use the actual hollow option and set my walls and everything?

Still getting used to this kind of printing..Would something as simple as this stand attachment be placed "as is" or angled to the build plate with supports? Thanks.

I'm still looking for advice on this issue. I typically do supports in Prusa, then slice in Chitubox and run the file through the Photon File Validator. Now, whenever I run things through the Validator they come out in a giant resin block and eat up all the resin in the vat by 50% through the print. If I skip the validator step I don't have any issues, but I really like using it to fix the small pixel islands. This is a new issue. I've been using the Validator for months without problems. Is there an update I'm missing? Picture of one such disaster for reference:

ChituBox question. When I try to move a support, I select the support, but the whole thing doesn't select. Just the vertical shaft. I can't move it. Wassupwiddat?

Ok I have issues to get stick on first layer, it always end at bed. I am trying to print yennefer model with good support I would say.

I am using basic green resin from anycubic and I have photon S.

Here are my settings:

layer 0.05

normal exposure time: 8

off time 2

bottom exposure used to have 50 but i will test with 70

bottom layers 6

anti alias 4

z lift 6

z lift speed 3

retract speed 10

What could be wrong? i played with off time had 1 no change.

Temperature in basement is way lower than 30, even 25, about 21.

Any suggestion welcomed.

I calibrated bed more than three time and once I printed switch jig without any problem. But other than that nothing. I am getting frustrated to wait hours for nothing.

Hello everyone. I'm a new user, and I tried searching for this but couldn't quite find the answer. I was on the program that came with the printer (anycubic photon slicer v1.3.6) and accidentally changed the X size (mm) thinking it was to resize the print image size, not the LCD screen size. Does anyone know the default size? The manual (and one online) show an older program version at 68.04mm. is this correct?

Pretty frustrated at the moment. New Photon S, test print went ok. Failed print next (nothing happened). Emptied vat, cleaned blob off FEP, re-leveled. Printed the third picture (don't remember settings), bard comes out about half done. Went in, tweaked settings and this is what happened (first pic, settings in second pic). What am I doing wrong?

hi so im trying to do a print that isnt the test print (my first) and its a couple of minis, but for some reason only one will print, and not that well either (missing a leg) the others dont print at all. is this a support issue or a bed leveling issue?
