This maybe a stupid question...can you get dodgy bottles of resin?
I have a bottle of grey and black anycubic and a bottle of elegoo clear blue. All recommendations the same 60/8 seconds. This is what I have set out to in the slicer. was using the Anycubic grey and getting great results (pic 1). I then switched to the black Anycubic (same settings) to print a simple base for a model. I've tried upright, 45 degrees, flat, all raised on supports etc but 5 failed prints. Either supports breaking, not sticking to build plate, but mostly resin forming on the FEP which I've had to empty and peel off (pic 2 and 3).
I thought it was the screen so swapped to translucent blue, exactly the same settings, could see the screen working through the resin , and it printed a random print perfectly first go (last pics) ?‍♂️ what's going on with this black resin?

I've had this start to happen lately, this one wasn't to bad, but some prints have been half hanging off, some models where affected, some just don't stick to the plate at all,
I have a fair few scratches and notches on my build plate , and a few dings and scratches on the FEp, assuming this is the problem

Curious if anyone else has seen this, it usually happens mid to late print, sometimes the model does this while over pieces are still printing on the same plate ?

Does anyone know how my screen managed to crack?

I've had no issues aside from a screen replacement about a month ago. Haven't releveled since. But today when I did a resin change I noticed the screen had several cracks in it. It didn't have this a few prints ago.

I stick the plastic scraper in the resin vat after every print to make sure nothing is stuck to the FEP. I learned this the hard way.

Well that's shit, I just replaced the screen about 3 weeks ago.

I recently noticed the same thing. I'm guessing I missed something in the vat at some point :-/
To the best of my knowledge, printing should still be fine, provided I avoid the cracked areas and replace the glass screen soon, yea?
