Some problems came to my head immediately: If the weather is bad, would the cat still want to stay outdoors? If the cat is indoor, the camera would not be able to take a picture of the sky. Another issue is about privacy. I am sure many people would not like it when their pictures are taken (even by cats) without approval.
Just my 2 cents worth.
