Well shoot. I printed these two with my photon using anycubik clear. Any ideas as to what went wrong? I'm using default settings on the resin as far as I know, and then I cleaned off the clear models in 99% IPA, and after curing in UV they came out orange/yellow. ?‍♂️

has anyone else played around with lower temp exposure?

my "print room" is probably in the 50f's this means here are the things I have been noticing..

#1 prints have less detail... (makes sense because of the higher viscosity of the resin)

#2 there is a thin layer of resin adhering to the fep. right where the print is being done. it also is not as rigid/firm when I try to pop it off the fep.

#3 prints cure tacky. Mind you, I might be overdue to clean my IPA but it seems consistent with the low temp prints.

So with that in mind... Home users.. how do you warm your resin?

my plan is a hot water bath for the bottle and running a heater in the print room to get the temp up.

what are your thoughts?

ps 20-25c is 60-75f

Got some minis finally cooking after getting everything right with the test print. Since I dont have IPA atm I gave it an acetone dip and will cure it outside

I searched among the posts but I think is a new (and maybe stupid) question:
If I'm going to make 2 prints consecutively, it's enough to remove the first object and start to print again or should I clean the plate with ipa before the second round?

As using ipa in a ultrasonic bath is a no no.
Has anyone found a UK alternative to mean green cleaner?
2-Butoxyethanol seems to be its main ingredient.
You can buy this on ebay for around £20 for 2.5 litres.
Could this be used in the ultrasonic bath?

Would this clean resin from prints?
It contains both ipa and ethanol?
