Well, can't see any issues with cleaning prints using generic cheap as chips detergent to clean the slimes, inside and out. Seems to be as effective as using IPA, just an extra step of having to rinse with cold water before a longer drying cycle. The generic 5l detergent was from Amazon, with next day delivery too, for about a fiver.

Sorry, new Photon user with potentially a dumb question. I bought the ESun Water Washable Resin. Does this mean it is cool to clean my Resin Vat with Distilled Water? Or should I be using IPA?

I recently got my new water washable Polyjuice clear resin, and want to clean out my vat and build plate. After draining the vat into the bottle through a filter, can I just submerge it in IPA, or is there a better/more effective way to clean it? The build plate I can probably just submerge.

Out of curiosity share:
1)how long you have owned your printer
2) approximately how much resin you have used
3) how much IPA/denatured/house hold detergent you have used.

I'll start
1) 8 months
2)16L (all Anycubic, every colour)
3) 2L isopropyl 99% and 4L of denatured alcohol (works substantially better for same price)

Just wanted to see how long and how much everyone has printed and also seeing how long people stretch there baths before tossing out. I feel a lot of you change it way to often for no reason.

Why would something like this happen?
One foot and other random of spots are uncured, and wont cure despite being left out in the summer sun.

It’s hollow, and my only guess is that perhaps some IPA got caught in that spot and somehow ruined the resin?

Quite frustrating to have a 30 hour print fail like this. ?

I've been having issues with garbage prints lately. I've changed the FEP 3 times, levelled and re-levelled. I've replaced the thumb drive. The worst of the misprints is on the right side of the plate. There is a SMALL smudge of IPA on the inside of the LCD screen, front center. Maybe 1/8 diameter. I'm at a loss for what to try next. Suggestions?

Hi.

I'm searching for a cleaning and washing solution like the CW1 from Prusa.
Would love to buy a seperate CW1 but they only come with a 2.000 Euro printer...

Has anybody a good alternative (no IPA bath and nail hardener) which I could source in Germany/Europe or has a good build instruction for such a nice thing? (especially for drying after washing)

Hi Guys, need a bit of a hand getting my initial test print going. as you can see in the picture it's a fair bit wobbly, but I'm not sure how to fix it, most of my googling indicates to change the exposure time, but I would have thought for the test model with the provided resin that should already be set up fairly well.

I had a previous print that failed to adhere to the build plate, but I managed to sort that by releveling it. I drained and filtered the vat, cleaned the failed print off the base of it but there was still some faint smudges even after wiping it with IPA. Could this be the cause?

The other thing I'm wondering is if the temperature here would have caused it? it was around 30 celsius in the room for most of the print with a high humidity.

Should also note it's a Photon S for any difference that makes.
