Hello everyone thanks for having me waiting on my printer to arrive cannot wait, is there anything I should get before it arrives so I'm prepared and will make the printing process easier? This will be mostly used for D&D Miniatures :)

Hello photonsters! I require assistance, my printer isn't doing what I want it to.

I've been doing supports for my prints (including rafts) in prusaslicer as I prefer it to chitubox, then exporting them as an STL and using chitubox to slice them and saving them as .photon files.

In the chitubox preview everything looks as I expect, but when I print an extra raft gets added under the one that's already there!?

The photo below shows it pretty well, there's a step on the edge of the raft and it's about 1.5mm thick, I don't want the lower part to appear at all, it's not supposed to be there!

Have included a picture of the bottom of the print on chitubox as well as my raft settings, please help, I'm wasting so much resin ?

Hi, I did a search but could find my specific scenario: I have a few files from thingiverse where the item is split in two, i guess maybe because non resin printers might have trouble printing it solid. I have managed to use the photon workshop to manipulate it and put them together - but it was a bit of a drama - is there any other software you could recommend to split an stl file which contains two seperate pieces and manipulate the two halves into a single piece piece again? Sorry i hope this makes sense, hard to explain.

Half of the miniatures on the plate either were cut completely in half or have these weird bars through them. I'm honestly not sure what happened and I've never had this happen before and I've owned this thing for a year-and-a-half. Any ideas?

Made an upgrade kit for GW's Space Marine Dreadnought. Makes it way taller (same height as a Contemptor) and angles the arms out a bit. Modeled in 3DS Max since that's what I know...

If you don't have your own 3d printer, there are often extremely cheap workshops at colleges and universities that allow you to print the files. Otherwise there are many commercial 3D printing services.

The information is already a few days old, but there are some who didn't notice it.

I put my FDM printer in my bed room and i mostly print PLA and i feel it safe, Did SLA photon printer can be put in bed also ?

Hello I am a quiet follower of this group this is my first post. I have learned many useful things so thank you all. I bought my photon early 2019 but only started using it last Christmas. Thanks to all the useful advices I learned mostly in this group, my experience with anycubic photon is very positive.

I read about anti-alias feature that required firmware update. May l ask does this upgrade make much differences in term of print quality. And could those who have done it tell me how to upgrade my printer to enable anti-alias function.

Quick question... would anyone who is familiar with 3D modeling be able to look at an .stl or a meshmixer file for me? I found a mini that I liked, mostly. I took some time teaching myself a bit of Meshmixer and edited it a bit more to my liking.

I attempted to print it, and it failed to print. The supports printed fine, the mini didn't. So, would anyone be willing to take a look at the mini and make sure I didn't forget some important step to making it print-able before I go re-supporting and slicing and all that?
