Hi Photons user,
I am looking to activate the etnernet port of my photon S, or a way to control it other than by the usb key. I saw that it existed for the photon, but not for the S. Do you have any ideas? The great thing would be an equivalent of ocoprint, does it exist?

Hey all.

Brain picking time I've had a couple of prints do this sort of layer shift on me. Have any of you experienced it?

I have checked for a wobble and that's fine checked the screen and that is fine with the exposure test have also checked the fep and that isnt loose.

Is it possible or is a corrupt file or even a corrupt usb.

Any help would be awesome.

Just got a Photon (Or is it a Fauxton) from Anycubic.com. I ran the RERF.pws file on the supplied USB stick. Not sure how to interpret it because if I understand correctly, the exposure tests starts at 3 seconds through to 11 seconds. But the recommendations in the Photon Resin settings spreadsheets has 4 entries for Anycubic White - 3 entries say 15 seconds exposure and one says 8. Should I extend the test longer or is my sweet spot in these results?

These are technically failed prints because of my usb debacle but still usable for my dnd group ?

Having an issue where I can't run g-code files on my photon. I have a Fauxton running the newest firmware. When I load the files onto my usb drive (not the anycubic one but one that I purchased and reformatted to Fat32) and then go to print them on the Photon, I can see the test prints but when I get to the page that includes g-code files the file buttons are blank and the menu freezes up. At this point I can't go back or select any prints and have to turn the machine off and on again.

Any ideas as to how to get the g-code recognizable so that I can run the test print?

Soooo yea. This is too full right? I put the plate to home and filled it really close, then lifted it 10mm (I guess foolishly), while I loaded the file onto the usb. This will need to be disassembled and cleaned out now, right? Should I have to stop the print?

After seeing a post similar to this one last night I assumed my issue was FEP was not tight enough. Any ideas as to what my issue might be with this print? I am completely new to sla printers so any help would be greatly appreciated. I attempted this print yesterday as well with nearly the same results, but did not get any pics of it. This is the default program this is on usb shipped with the printer, but I moved it to my own flash drive formatted fat32, the printer sees the file fine.

As a side note, this is one of the new Fauxtons, running firmware V 3.4.1

Hi there, first time photonster... and already having some trouble!

This morning I tried installing V295 firmware in my one-month old Photon S. I was trying to downgrade from V502 because I noticed the quality of the prints that was coming out wasn't better, actually it had gotten worse, with artefacts and leftover resin in the vat.

I uploaded the .bin files in the usb stick, and installed one of the files (the main firmware update, not the UI)

The printer restarted, and now it freezes whenever I insert the usb stick, or any usb stick for that matter.

Do any of you know of a way to revert it to what it was? Do a factory reset of some sort? :)

I already contacted Anycubic support, but they're are taking too long to reply. I'd like to try to sort this mess myself, if it's possible...

I need some help! My Photon isn't showing up any of the prints I slice when I put in a the usb flash drive. I've tried multiple flash drives and even tried directly into the back of the motherboard but it's still not reading anything. I'm not getting any kind of error message just blank squares where print files should be. Has anyone encountered this before and have a successful fix? I'm hoping I don't have to replace the mobo. Appreciate any help!
