Hello.

I received my new Photon today.

I unboxed the machine, verify the package, all is Ok.
I followed the manual until levelling and all was ok.
I filled in the Vat with resin, plug the usb stick to print the test file but when I pluged the usb stick, the screen just freez and after few seconds the machine stop. No fan, no screen, just the light of the optical Z ensdstop.

Do anybody already have this problem ? Do you what to do ?

PS : I sent the after sales support form but still have no response.

Hi, I just bought Photon printer, but I dont use any windows or mac machine. I have Ubuntu (18.04.3 LTS) linux on all my PCs and notebook. Could you give me any advice which slicing software is good to use in this operating system to generate *.photon print files ? There is no linux software on USB FLASH included in product package. Thank you for any advice or link.

Hey guys, for the first time I had a print stop in the middle and not advance. What are some reasons this happen? (other than USB errors)

Just received the photon s, z moves ok and LCD shows the rectangle light but it doesn't detect the included USB at all -file list is empty even though the red light on the stick comes on. I'm trying to print the included test file PHOTONS.photons My pc can read it fine. Did anyone else have this issue and manage to fix it? Also tried other FAT32 drives no luck..

So rigged up a little DIY UV oven. The new question is... How long would these little guys need to be in here to fully cure ? The UV light are just run on USB power. Cheers.

Hey peeps , me again ? I’m trying to do my first print (test cube) but when I insert the usb stick into printer , there are no print files ? I even sliced and saved it on Chitubox and put that on the usb stick but still doesn’t show up on printer ?

Unplugged, plugged it back in. Build plate moves down. Doesn't seem to do anything else. Usb is flashing very rapidly. Isn't building any layers. Touch screen is frozen.

Hey everyone, new to the group ? Couldn’t help my excitement, had to show off the 1st print. Had 1x failed attempt at the lattice cube test print on the USB, but wasn’t using the AnyCubic resin so guessing that or my level was the cause of error.

Adjusted settings in ChiTubox, releveled.... Boom ? a rook from a rookie

I'm not sure what's going on but I just finished the initial set up for my photon s and plugged in the USB drive but the files are not showing up. I checked on my computer and the files are there and even look like they are the right kind but the printer isn't seeing them.

Update: fixed the issue. I wanted to print the lattice cube that comes on the USB first to make sure everything was working right but it was put in a subfolders so the printer couldn't see it.

Hey Guy´s! I recently had the problem that my Photon would just stop mid print or reset even when i isnt done yet. So I figured that it might be a problem with the usb stick so I bought a new one. 32gb Kingston. When I plug it in and try to power up the printer it does nothing. If I let him boot up propperly and insert the USB stick than the touch controlles wont work anylonger. Its really frustrating. Any Idea what could cause that? Allready changed it to FAT32 if your wondering. Tips would be appreciated
