where'd u get the model? i have the original file from the film. buddy of mine who worked on the film sent it to me in trade for pazuzu's 3d print file from the tv show i worked on.

3D print it. Dudes like 10 years older than me. So when I worked on Constantine he reached out. I wanna say. He does the 3D printing now for Batnthesun. And we’re working on some red hood pilot now.

some improvements, antialiasing eg. If ur using Photon S its good to upgrade to be able to read different file types.

I've had this a few times on.the standard anycubic, try pressing the up.and down buttons when selecting files and see if they appear

1st, we need to know what printer...and check the firmware version. If 3.xx you need to upgrade to 5.0x. This was common to have a USB from any cubic to contain files not compatible with as shipped firmware.

My geekstick that came with the photon S had the test file in a folder. I copied it to the top level (i.e. not in a folder) and the unit could read it.

Thanks all. I installed the UI and drivers using the included stick and then I was able to see the files on my printer. I dont understand why my brand new 32G Samsung USB stick wont work. But both the included USB stick and the separate USB stick I got as a freebie from some company work fine. How many files are on your drive. I have an issue where I cant have more than 3-4 files on my drive at anyone time or it can't see them. Wierd bug. But as long as I stay basically below 800mb-1gb it doesn't have a problem.

First, the model needs to be high quality. Without that, settings won't matter.

For print settings, we need to know what resin you are using.

It is high quality.

I'm using the basic Anycubic White. It says UV Wavelength 405nm

Bruno Shepard start here and tweak as you learn. This says Anycubic White should be around 15 seconds exposure time per layer at 0,05mm layer height.

Noone can tell you the best settings, because they depend on so many factors. Do an RERF test and you'll get to what works best for your current conditions.

Is this any good by itself or does it need to be used with a surgical mask underneath?

mhm i have to question like SLA is really usefully for air tight stuff so its a bit waistfull to use the resin for parts that would be better printed on an FDM machien

Glenn Mcfadden I have to agree. FDM is the only way to go for printing out these safety mask thingys. PLA is way less brittle and generally easier to print.

Alex Weitzman it’s just a shield so yes, you would require a surgical/N95 mask in addition.

Unless you are a medical professional their is little to no need for a face shield.

Afraid I cannot help with settings, but you should probably post which version of the Photon this is for as e.g. S model typically has shorter exposure times than original
