I'm about to run out of my free bottle of Anycubic green and need to purchase my next bottle. What's your favorite resin you have used and why?

This is primarily for UK users.
I seen someone on the fourms recommending this stuff to clean uncured resin from prints.
So I've been using it on various models today.
I've used it neat in a ultrasonic bath, and it's a decent cleaner, it removes alot of uncured resin.
I still need to swirl it in some ipa to remove the final "tacky" feel to the part.
Over all its OK, cheap and safe to use in a ultrasonic bath.

I still prefer acetone, 30 to 40 secs and it's completely removed the uncured resin.

Is there some trick to curing ABS-like resin? I've tried everything I can think of, including:

IPA wash and rinse alone.
IPA wash, followed by ultrasonic with Mr. Clean.
Ultrasonic with Mr. Clean alone.

Followed by curing under bright sunlight for varying lengths of time, up to and including hours, or curing under a manicure light for long periods, or both together.

I still end up with a slick, sticky feeling oily sheen. Note that this isn't consistent. Some prints cure just fine, albeit after more extensive curing than would be necessary for ordinary resin. But some prints just don't. Am I missing something, or is this just the nature of the resin?

Well... tested my Z axis issue by swapping a motherboard with a friends and it looks like the issue. I'll have to do some searching to see if I can get a good deal on a new board. Otherwise I might just replace the printer. Any Recommendations on other resin printers I should look into if that becomes the case?

Hello all, After the mold to make its own silicone spatula (allowing to scrape the resin from the vat without damaging the FEP here https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4115962 ), here is a stand that completes it! Indeed, it will allow you to empty and filter the resin from your vat directly in the bottle. I know there are already quite a few models of this kind available on Thingiverse, but mine fits on a v-slot linear rail of the same kind as the frames of FDM printers.
Each part (base, filter support and tank support) is mobile and is held in place with an M5 screw. The linear rail is 20x20mm. The system is quite stable and I added a small angle of 10° to the vat support so that the resin flows well in the filter. I made sure that the support does not protrude at all from the vat so that we can come and scrape it with the silicone spatula without discomfort. In the same way as the last time, I will add the Thingiverse link if I see that it interests people.
EDIT: here is the link! https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4149707 翻譯年糕

I would like to fasten a few large printed parts together. The joint needs to be nearly as strong as the printed part and needs to be air tight. I am curious what you all have tried (and if it worked or not)

Operating in complete ignorance my current plan is to design the parts to have a very thin gap. The gap would allow a thin layer of uncured liquid resin to be held between the parts. I am hoping that I can then cure the whole assembly and use the liquid-filled-gap to weld the parts together. (shown in image)

My first concern is that the color of light that makes it through the parts will not be correct to cure the liquid resin. I am currently using Sierra Tech Blu but could switch to Sierra Tech Clear it needed.

Hello. I’m trying to print a sculpture on my photon S, but not having much luck.
I keep getting problems with the raft separating from the plate. I recalibrate each time and still get problems.
Could it be a problem with the settings. I’m using Anycubic grey resin and have set the thickness to 0.25mm. Should it be thinner and I’m using a skate raft?

So having finally printed more than I can paint, and having a failed print stick to the FEP I decided it was time for a good cleanup of the printer area with a view to putting it away for a few days

Now, I might be especially scruffy but damn if I didnt end up with resin seemingly everywhere. I have put the alcohol baths and IPA outside in the weak ass UK sun to cure off, but I have a metal tray which is covered in dots of resin where I have popped prints, I even ended up spreading resin onto the printer lol.

Anyway.

How do you guys cope with keeping your areas tidy, our 3d Printers are in my den and I dont get bothered about the smell but I am worried about making sure everything stays clean because I have kids and cats in the house, - all hints and tips welcome :)

Hello there! Siraya tech blu (clear) question: Is it possible to use light support with this resin? Because my first attempt with it failed hard. Has worked fine with anycubic resin and primacreator resin in the same printer.
