Ive had my photon for 2 weeks now and havent gotten a good print. I have read through the FAQ and suggestions but still cannot get it to work right.

Issue: Prints keep coming off the bed and sticking to the FEP.

Attempted fixes:

New FEP (a few times)

adjusting the tension of FEP

changing cure times both longer and shorter

changing number of bottom layers

re-leveling the bed

readjusting Z height

cleaning everything over and over

Multiple different resins

Adjusting file Z height and adding support structure

Changing model print angle

Are there any other recommendations? I just want prints to start coming out so I can begin repairing my other printers.

Has anyone here tried adding a flexible component like Siraya Tenacious or Monocure Flex 100 to something like Siraya Sculpt or another super-high-detail resin?

I'm curious if adding the flexible component softens the details to the point of making using Sculpt pointless. I'm puttering about in my fab lab trying to figure out the best alchemical concoction for high detail and moderate flexibility (think reaper bones minis... and yeah I know they're injection molded polymer plastic).

So far my best results have come from 50%-50% Monocure Flex 100 and Monocure 3D Rapid Clear, but I'd really like to step away from totally transparent resins..

Hello photonsters! I require assistance, my printer isn't doing what I want it to.

I've been doing supports for my prints (including rafts) in prusaslicer as I prefer it to chitubox, then exporting them as an STL and using chitubox to slice them and saving them as .photon files.

In the chitubox preview everything looks as I expect, but when I print an extra raft gets added under the one that's already there!?

The photo below shows it pretty well, there's a step on the edge of the raft and it's about 1.5mm thick, I don't want the lower part to appear at all, it's not supposed to be there!

Have included a picture of the bottom of the print on chitubox as well as my raft settings, please help, I'm wasting so much resin ?

As a lot of members I want to make my minis less brittle as either AC green and Elegon gray are nice resin, but damn they're brittle. I've seen people use monocure flex with a 15% to 25% ratio and other says the Elegoo ABS like is less brittle.

My concern is that living in Canada, i can easily get Elegoo ABS like on amazon but monocure flex as to be ordered on internet and either buy over 100$ to get free shipping or pay a heavy shipping cost.

What are you thoughts/suggestion or maybe something else to suggets that I didn't think of?

anybody have any clue why this fail keeps happening to me?
file - official photon testmodel, set up unchanged

The Plate holds a small circle, nothing else.
The fep holds a slightly hardened residue

things done: relevelled, good working resin, motherpboard replaced, fep replaced and tested perfectly, new plate installed, LED gives the rectangular shape as in the example

what else is possible that causes it ??

Hi, I did a search but could find my specific scenario: I have a few files from thingiverse where the item is split in two, i guess maybe because non resin printers might have trouble printing it solid. I have managed to use the photon workshop to manipulate it and put them together - but it was a bit of a drama - is there any other software you could recommend to split an stl file which contains two seperate pieces and manipulate the two halves into a single piece piece again? Sorry i hope this makes sense, hard to explain.
