OK this may have been asked before, if so sorry. I have Siraya Blu resin. I understand it can be mixed with Anycubic resin. Is this correct, and if so what % should I put in the give the parts some strength. Thanks

Hi all, just getting started with my Photon and I want to try and print a DnD miniature. I'm brand new to resin printing and this slicer, so I used auto supports, is this many support pillars normal??? It seems super excessive.

Soooo… RIP screen, I guess? ?

What about guarantee? I see a lot of broken screens here, but never hear anyone talk about guarantee?

My Printer is not a year old, I printed roughly 1.5 L of resin and barely had any issues in between. So, a randomly broken screen should be a case of guarantee, shouldn't it?

Or is this excluded in some terms?

I ran the test mode by accident yesterday and was shocked to see the screen like this! The last print a few days ago still worked like a charm?

Btw. does anybody know a good and cheap screen for the Photon S? ?

Hey all...
im trying to print some jewelry in Bluecast Original resin on my photon, but it wont bind to the buildplate.. dos any of you have expirence with bluecast print in the photon?? and could anyone provide me with som slicer data??

Brand new Photon. Leveled the printer, leveled the build plate, did the paper gap test. First test cube it seems to have adhered to the FEP. Second attempt it started off fine but eventually fell off the build plate. This is using Anycubic grey with the default settings. Only thing that might not be optimal is the temp where the printer is located in the basement. Maybe exposure time isn't right for the resin?

TL;DR models cracking.

Ok wtf,

I have been using Monocure 3d rapid grey, after alot of tweaking found some good settings. I then bought some Monocure 3d 100 Flex resin. I mixed the 2 at a 75/25 ratio respectively.

I printed Baalzarodan by Artisans Guild, pieces were coming out perfectly, details are amazing, has an almost ABS feel, removed all supports under warm water and next to no marks. The models are also being hollowed with 2.5mm walls, atleast 3 drain holes top and bottom.

I have gone away for the weekend, came home to find the models cracked to pieces along the layer lines.

Any advice, ideas? I am proper disheartened now, as printing at 100% scale, I have dropped about 30 hrs so far.
