I have an astronaut model that I have embedded a name into the back (recessed). I’m thinking of curing the model then infilling the name with a different color resin and curing that with a hand held UV light....what do y’all think?

I'm relatively new at resin 3D printing, and so I find myself thinking about ways to improve my workflow. One of the things in my mind lately is avoiding cross-contamination while wearing gloves. Any hints, tips? What is your order of operations like to avoid getting resin everywhere from your gloves and having to wipe things up?

So, buying my first resin printer. Photon s owners, what should I choose a photon s over a Mars? Planning on printing a wide variety of things but starting with figures.

Hi.
Long time FDM owner, new at resin. So I have two questions:
1. Are there an online guide for common print troubleshooting, like the is for FDM. ?
2. So my current problem is that bottom layers seems to "melt" together. See the pictures, the coin should have been identical on top and bottom.
What parameters should I tweake to fix this?

I have 8 bottom layers, with 50 sec exposure time for the bottom layers. Otherwise 6 sec for all other layers.

My printer is a photon S, the resin is the one that came with the package.

Anycubic white resin. Woke up to the bottom tray covered in basically a pudding skin on top of the resin. When peeled off, it would re harden again to a skin on top. What's the cause of this? I'm getting pissed off that I went though most of a bottle of resin and had no successful prints so far.

So now that I owned resin printers for 18 months now I have some info for you all.
After 1000 hrs on the Photon S screen replacement and one going at 2000 hrs and still going. What I did when they came in was I looked at the whole machine all sides and such. And tried an experiment. There is a large fan on the bottom of these machines as well as Egeloo mars and others. They all have feet that raise the unit up about 1 inch at most. So I decided to raise one Mars and then One Photon I cut a hole below the unit into my stand/platform where the fan/unit would be above. This created better air flow and I have found that machine runs less hot and the lcd lasted longer up to 2x as much. So I would say Rasie Your Machines off the platform you have it on. See photos below on my test units. I have 8 Photons and 4 Mars machines and s400s and Phenom and Transform machines here as well.
