Hey all.. im going to be using anicubic clear resin for the first time today. Used black before .. i geus there is a big differents in exposion time..
Any recomendations would be greatly apreciated. ?

Thanks for letting me join. I've been using fdm printers for a few years but haven't moved into resins yet. My mate has a photon that he want to get rid off so obviously I wanted a new toy. Time to get reading and fiddling with stuff. Other than the info on github can anyone recommend a good source of info? Or if you gave any tips you can share that would be great. ?

Hi all, I am a jeweller and I have outsourced 3d printing services before but never done it myself. I am considering getting a 3d printer so I can print with castable resin. My budget is small atm so I am thinking of getting the original photon and use with blue cast x5. I am just wondering if I can achieve the engraving like the ring I made a long time ago. As my first print with the Photon Zero I did the RERF test to find the best exposure time for my resin.I have no idea what to conclude from this testprint. Does anybody see differences? Sorry if the image quality is not good. It's the best I could get at the moment.

It's heeeereeee!

I noticed some reviewers had received a small bottle of resin with their printer. Mine didn't, and doesn't have a cut out in the foam for one like I've seen in videos. Is this normal? I have some on order anyway, just curious if something was missed.

Hey everyone!

So we have all seen the getshift.io LED array and it keeps popping up here every now and then but is there an LED array that can be used to upgrade the original photon?

I have noticed that I keep getting failed supports. I have changed the FEP and I don't think it's the LCD screen since it prints everything (even if it sticks to the FEP). I have to run my exposure times up to 15-16 secs when 12 should be the top end for a successful exposure. I'm wondering if it is the light source.

I am using Monocure Clear. Their batch control and quality is excellent. Also, the resin heater is keeping it around 27C.

Thought I’d try some Siraya Fast Green for some gators. Well the resin overall is a winner the color leaves a little to be desired, more like a yellow that wants to be green. My gator looks like he has a vitamin deficiency!
