Any tips on cleaning up pits? I know, there are videos of cleaning up supports, but I've now that this machine is printing like a champ, I'm getting pits.

I just tried the method where you spread a light layer of resin over the area and then cure it,and then possibly sand it. We'll see how it goes!

Thank you for adding me. I am a very new photon owner. There is an issue that is frustrating me. I have already had to replace the FEP on my machine and might have to do it again. This morning I ran 4 or 5 prints of a single tiny ship with no problem. I ran my gloved fingers through the tank to confirm there was no buildup of resin. Then I tried to print 4 of them at the same time and I got this ghosting like I have gotten every single time I try to print multiple items. Also, there is now material stuck to the FEP film which I have to scrape off which scratches the film. What am I doing wrong??

Just want to show off one of my recent projects. The whole monster was done on the photon piece by piece and assembled. The base was fdm with the exception of the broken street lights, which were also the photon. This machine is so badass!!

First print after the new machine....big failure

When it came out, it just had two kind of thin sticky areas on the FEP but no solid resin at all.
I tried this model;

I tightened the FEP per the youtube video and did my zero per the Flint Read method. I used the following settings and printed straight to the plate:

layer 0.05 Normal Exposure 10 Off Time 3 Bottom Exposure 70 Bottom Layers 10

and it really didn't look like it did anything. What am I missing? 翻譯年糕

First print with Anycubic ECO Macaroon Blue using 12/5/70/8 for settings at 50 micron

Smell: Only very little, maybe 20% of what I'm used to from Green

Strength: Seems more flexible than green, but haven't done final cure yet

Quality: No complaints, looks similar to green.

Will add cured/primed pictures later.

Model/STL: Dragonlock / FDG skeleton set 4 flat on plate without supports.

How long can I leave ressin in the vat? The instructions say that it should not be left for more than two days, and I have no intention of leaving a vat full of ressin if I wont use the printer for a while, but curious. The reason I started to wonder is that I have not printed for over two weeks, and I noticed that I had not cleaned the plattform (I know, stupid mistake, keel your machine clean at all times), and the ressun had not cured at all, instead there were big drops of liquid ressin on it. My Printer is positioned in a way so that almost no sunlight reaches in to the machine, and i even left the protective film on the sides to reduce exposure as much as possible.

EDIT: This is how I have places it, the back is facing a window that never gets direct sunligt, and the vinyl film on the sides have not been removed. Foto added

Bit of beginners question, I've had my machine about 2 weeks and after some problems I'm loving it. Question I have is about the resin, I'm using anycubics own brand for now but I've noticed some quality difference between colours and wondered if that's normal ? The clear green and red have alot better definition than the white which seemed to smooth out alot of the sharp edges ?

I feel it necessary to give credit where credit is due. For all of the Problems I have had with my AnyCubic Photon, there support and willingness to "make it right" is perhaps the best I have ever encountered from a Company. The replacement Screen they sent me to replace the defective one in my new machine has a large scratch on the bottom of it. They are also going above and beyond and sending a replacement for that along with new FEP and a new bottle of Resin. Below is the Email reply I got from them after sending them a link to my YouTube video about the Bad Resin included with my new printer.

The green resin we sent you because of the different batches of suppliers, there are few cases that can not be printed successfully, this is our problem, we want to work hard to make up for it and reduce the damage caused to you.

From your description, the machine is working properly when you use other resins, so it is most likely due to resin problems，caused printing fail. In order to avoid unsuccessful printing of green resin, could you choose another color of resin and tell us that we will send you a new resin as soon as possible.

In addition, the new 2K screen has scratches, which may be caused by damage during factory loading or logistics. Please don't worry, we will re-issue a 2K screen and FEP film for you. Hope with the new resin and After the 2K screen is replaced, your machine will work perfectly.

Could you tell me your shipping address? We will send you new accessories and resins as soon as possible.

First results with the plant-based Anycubic resin on the S. Don't mind the back, I'm still learning how to place supports. Overall nice settings but I think they can be optimized for greater detail. The figure is 5 cm in height. I am thinking about increasing the exposure time a bit.
