I dont know what I'm doing differently that it's working now. I put less on the plate. I dont try to export a mirrored image. It screws up going from prusa software for so.e reason. Excited that things are working out!

So I've printed a few things (the file that comes with the photon, (which looks like a benchmark? Also it kinda failed) and then printed an Eiffel tower (which printed fine but I didn't clean super well before curing so it has a bunch of white gunk) anywho, I tried to print a little stitch off of thingaverse and it failed lol, I'm still really new to sla printers and actually have no idea how it went wrong?

I'm using the settings off of the guide Excel guide (gonna attach screenshots)

Can someone kinda give me an idea why? Plz thanks

My new Photon only recognizes .pws file types. Is Photon Workshop the only program that exports .pws? I've messed around with Chitubox and only managed to export as .photon/.photons, which my printer doesn't recognize.

Okay can anyone explain why Photon Workshop, using these settings calculates a print as being 10 hours 50 mins, but when I start the print on the machine (photon S) it says closer to 15 hours 45 min? When I calculate it myself, (layer-by-layer for the height of the object divided by .05 mm, 66.5 sec for the first 8 layers; 14.5 sec for the remaining layers) without accounting for any delays caused by the stepper motor, I get a print time of 11.9 hours. Is it possible the true off time is incorrect still or something?

Looking for some opinion; anycubic Photon. I just started using Siraya Tach blue and started having some weird failures in the middle of my prints. The rafts are fine, but it looks like the supports are just giving up. The lcd UV detection test pattern looks fine... what would cause supports of all sizes to just not print in the middle but work just fine everywhere else?

I’m confident my plate is level. Lift and retracts speeds are low. Level exposure time is 12 sec.

Update; looks like the FEP was too loose. I tightened it down and came out with a perfect print.

Quick question:

When using a foil lined box and UV light for curing, how much should I adjust curing time? For example, I found a recommended curing time for Anycubic translucent green as 30 minutes, so should I give it 30 minutes in a foil box with a rotating stand, or should I cut that by half or some other ratio?

I’ve had an issue my last 2 prints (two attempts at the same print) where the entire print (4 heroforge mini’s) fail at the same exact layer. It basically prints the rafts and a few layers of supports. Those layers printed to the build plate and then there’s another layer at the bottom of the vat.

This is coming off of about two months of flawless prints with no issues with adhesion.

Anyone ever had this issue?
