Loubie posted this awesome articulated millipede on Thingiverse,( https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4216832 ), and it just became my first successful, non-test, print from my Photon!
No raft, no supports just print straight on the plate. Anycubic Black, took about 53 minutes with these settings: Layer Thickness: .05mm
Normal Exposure: 7 sec
Bottom Layer Exposure: 90 sec
Bottom Layers: 4
Z-Lift Distance: 6mm
Z-lift Speed: 3 mm/s
Z Retract Speed 3 mm/s

Came in to a completed successful print. I wanted to test a new mix so i turned it off and on (I do this after every print, if I don't I have frame shearing issues on half the print) cleaned everything, and turned it to test mode to do my exposure test. This is what happened. It's not moving. Making a gentle grinding noise. I went through all the previous posts about similar things and tried all the non invasive things that were suggested

Nothing has worked. The little light at the bottom is red. Not sure where the sensor is actually located. I poked around and made sure there isn't resin spilled anywhere.

Working off of 4.2.18, regular photon.

Any suggestions?

I am experiencing a very weird problem. I've constructed the supports on the prusa slicer and exported the model with supports to chitubox and simply duplicated the model with built in support. But only one of the model have succesfully printed 3 fingers, 3 models completly failed the fingers and 2 models only failed 1 finger. All of the models have the same support, why this is happened, any idea?

My Photon (and wash&cure) arrived!
(Don't mind the mess, still cleaning up the space)

Resins:
Anycubic black, white & translucent green

Prepped a special corner in my boilerroom so that the fumes get extracted by building ventilation(extractor)

Already leveled the bed and set z=0...

Used to have a reprap so not new to 3d printing, only new to resin printing.

Already got the exposure test and z-wobble test downloaded.
Just prepping some more stuff (supported mini's) to be printed before I start.

Think I'll want to start with the Anycubic test file... Though photon validator sais it has floating islands, not sure if I'd have to fix those....

Good afternoon. I have a problem choosing settings for photopolymers in model S.

Can you tell me your settings to help save money and time, and not try everything by trial and error.

I use a printer to print miniature. A recent attempt at printing gave a good result, but I feel that the printer might work better.

Can you share your experience, tips and tricks?

I print on a gray, black-green photopolymer from Anycubic.

Is there a better choice in terms of price and quality?

What settings do you recommend for what is indicated above?

Hey there, Im new to printing with Anycubic Photon S. I tried with the tranlucent green Resin and want to change to a grey resin. I bought the one of Anycubic Resins but I hate the smell. The green resin dosnt smell, but the grey...

Could anyone give me an recommendation for a grey resin, not smelling for 28mm miniatures ? I want clear details, layerheight... 0.03mm till 0.02mm. Working settings for exposure would be a dream :)

THX

I know I have seen it somewhere here but cant find it. I am printing a Flat object and angled it about 30 degs and am finding layering lines in the final printed object.

My Settings

0.02, 11 secs exposure, 1 sec off, 80 Secs Bottom, 8 Bottom layers.. Monocure 3d rapid Grey..

Any Thoughts on what the sweet spot angle would be or more tweaks to my settings to drop the layering Lines.

Your replies are most welcome,

Cheers.
