Anyone have any opinions about the water washable resins? Are they worth the extra cost? Are they just as easy/hard to use as the regular resins?

Since I started power cycling the printer before each print, it feels like the number of inexplicable failures has gone down. I don’t have hard evidence for this, do others do this? Does it help?

Edit: for clarification: printer is normally off. What I mean is that the exact process I now follow (even if doing two prints right after each other) is:
* ensure printer is off
* insert usb
* check build plate and vat
* turn on printer
* press print

Weird issue
I'll call it LCD light leakage? For lack of a better term.
Whenever I print, after the prints done, and I've removed it from the build plate and done all that, I leave the resin in the vat and go about my day.

Next day when I go to print, I have a thin, perfect LCD shape square half cured to the FEP that I have to scrape off.

What is causing this and what is the solution?

Just puchust the gray resin, and switch from the clear green. Anything I should watch for? So far with the green as long as I hear that little pop from the ved I know I'll get a model. Should I expect the same?

Hello there!

I have experienced many issues with my prints lately. I have tried everything I know: different resin, regular calibrations, settings adjustments... I saw the bottom exposure time recommended was 50 seconds, so I tried to go up just to be safe.

But my last print failed totally: no prints were attached to the tray. It's quite random, but most often the first layers of the print stick to the bottom of the vat. Is there something terribly wrong on this settings? Should I change the film of the vat? Should I sand the tray? Thanks in advance :)

Hello everyone!

I've been working hard sculpting high quality undead models for the next month, so I would love to share all the prints I made on my Anycubic Photon with you!

These models were printed on 2 different sizes, the bigger ones were primed in order to highlight details.

0.03 the most and 0.05 layer height in some small models. If you have any question related please let me know!

P.D: All models are supportless but the big one, he is pre-supported.

Cheers,

Leo.

Anyone who can give me a quick crash course on how to read this? I'm leaning towars 8-9, but what normal exposure do I multiply with?!? I'm using AC White.

My prints are going great with one exception. In some prints, things printed that are laying flat or parts that run flat parallel to the aluminum head are warping, seperating in some areas. Seems like a simple problem with a simple fix?

Hi all,
New and happy owner of a Photon S here!
I've designed a part for an old moped that I'm trying to print. I used auto support generation in PrusaSlicer. My print came out fine but not perfect. Where the supports were the part's surface looks like it was melted. The other side is perfect. See pictures.
I used Anycubic Aqua Blue resin, 0.05mm layer, 50/9s exposure, 8 bottom layers. I cured the part with 60W UV light for about 40 minutes (I guess this irrelevant).
Any clue how to make it better? More supports?
Thanks!

So this is what I was looking to commission someone to make the 3D models for. I don’t expect this to be free by any means work/time cost money^^ thanks guys and gals!

所以這就是我想要委託某人做3 d模型的原因. 我不指望這個免費工作/時間花費金錢^^謝謝大家和女孩們!
