Someone asked this question so I went out and took a picture of "stuff you need to buy when your resin printer is on the way". I've lost the Q post to reply to so I'm starting this one. These are the tools I use for every print: A small spray bottle of IPA (super useful for cleaning up everything) Long tweezers (I actually use microchip pulling tweezers because of the good length and variety) Two small sealable cups/mini-buckets. One for dirty and one for clean alcohol (only one shown here). Dip print up and down in dirty first, then in clean using those tweezers. A caulk/paint scraper... the photon comes with one but a better one is well... better. Lots of paper towels (spray stuff with that spray bottle of alcohol and wipe with paper towel). Lots of gloves.. they are super cheap (like 3 cents per pair when bought in box like that) so wear and dispose of them often.
Hope this helps and if anyone has other tips, I'd like to hear also. The spray bottle of IPA was Godsend for me personally when someone shared that. 翻譯年糕

So recently since swapping back to the black anycubic resin from the green my prints have all failed to stick to the plate any ideas of why? I've leveled it multiple times and changed exposure times around but it seems to remain the same. Currently using the graphs .05 with 9 second exposure 2 second off time and 55 second bottom exposure. Any idea off the top of anyones heads as to why it wont stick to the base plate other than leveling?

Hey folks. How do you set up multiple models in one print in the anycubic photon slicer?

This happened three times with two different resins on the same machine. Red one is printed with frame shearing firmware update 4.2.19. Any tips on howto fix this? Slicing seems ok, checked the layers. Also resliced with the red print... Clueless....

Hi there. I've had my photon for a few days now, and have printed the test cube and a Sister of Battle model successfully (though too big, my fault for not checking the scale).
I had a couple of failed prints of the same object that I think we're down to having to large an area which didn't come off of the film properly.
Decided to print something else over night, and it came out mostly okay.
There is a bit of warping on the models base though.
It was printed at about 45 degrees with the cape pointing down to the bed, and using the community document for suggested exposure times, etc for Anycubic clear green resin.
Any tips on what might have happened to cause the warping, and also the visible lines every couple of mm?

I have a problem... ?
My girlfriend tripped on my photon powercable and ruined the print.

After that I reconnected it, aligned it and started a new print, but after a few minutes or what I would guess around 15-20 layers the machine went black and the light on the power brick is out. Which makes me assume it has no power.

I have verified that the power outlet is working and tried the cable between the power brick and the wall outlet on another machine (which worked, so that part isn’t broken).

Any tips? Is my power brick dead and if so where to find a replacement? Or do you have any other tips on what to check?

Are there any tips or rules to follow when mixing resins? Or can I just...freestyle on the track. So to speak. Can I "tryna stunt on my first day of bartending school" these bad boys.

Hey all! Brand new printer owner here checking in and saying I'm loving it so far, much less finicky than my monoprice mini v2 ? After trying to get all the right settings in chitubox and getting all my reference materials, set up was a breeze! The first/test print, a g-scale hydrant, came out great, so now I have a whole plate going lol. I'll mostly be printing out minis for my parents backyard railroad but I'm hoping to print out some of my ball jointed dolls as well and save myself the hastle of cleaning up PLA for casting ?‍♀️

If you guys have any tips or tricks for me, just lemme know! Bonus pic of our lightbox that's (literally) held together with tape and goodwill lol ?

So I can't do the resin testing. The step 1 "put printer into test mode using the gcode" did not work and it failed.

Any tips?
