Guys looking for some tips - I am using MonoPRICE Rapid Cure Grey - There are no known settings in the Resin Excel sheet and my prints arent working great - I had some default settings that worked for the MonoCURE Grey - but they are failing. Im not worried about past prints.

I am using Chitubox for the first time too....

I was wondering - For a GREY resin and for me wanting to print (See the picture) are the pictures/settings I have good enough? I seem to get the break away when it gets to my wall model.

Here are screens - does this look adequate? I AM hollowing and holing it for resin to come out.

Any tips would help!

Ok - the last week I’ve been having strange issues with my prints failing in different ways. I had finished my original green bottle and moved on to anycubic grey. I got one good print from it and now I’m getting fail after fail.

Relabeled my build plate before this print. Checked the UV LED for over 11 seconds and no flickers. I’m picking up a new USB today - although I haven’t been using the anycubic one at all. Up to this point I’ve been using a cheap extra I had.
I’m looking to reinstall the slicer / both the anycubic one and another I have tried.

I’m trying to think about whatever else I can try to get things working again.

Planning to do a new FEP ... and trying different resin (I have another bottle of anycubic green or maroon)

The settings for the photo failed print was from a shared google sheet for the anycubic Reddit group.

Help? Ideas? Tips?

Well the broken blue window photon i bought for $200 works fine after orienting the touchscreen cable correctly.

Tips for slicing the anycubic cube? All i have for resin is a bottle of nova standard gray and yeah i am familiar with the exposure chart on photonsters.

General Support question. I have read multiple posts, i have watched more videos than i can remember... what i learned was angle helps with support... so my question is: how can i make this better? i have not printed it yet because the test cube is still printing, but if i can make any adjustments before i try i would like to. Based off my FDM experience, these supports will work. I have setup ChiTuBox with default Photon settings, so i have not actually tweaked settings. Thank you all for the help in advance...

I'm starting to trust the big community sheet for resins less. Last time it wasn't working for 0.05 with the Anycubic Black (8s exposure, had to bring up to 12s to make prints stick), now only one out of the three items print properly - first stuck to the FEP, other only printed supports, small .50cal MG appears to be fine. 0.02 with 7.5s exposure, but I will bring it up to 9 or 10.

However, it started squeaking on Saturday, applied some lubricant on it rather deliberately, and now it's sliding up and down like a dirty phrase because I can't think of anything else.

Also, my fep did not make the loud "plep" noise at the first few layers, now it does. I've heard that it should be present, but I've failed a lot more prints since this became audible.

Sorry for the rambling, but usually I get a lot of useful hints and tips :)

Guys.... I stopped using chitubox since its quite buggy and the sliced files almost always have some issues.

Im using MM with OpenSlicer ( https://github.com/Photonsters/Slicer ) and i was wondering if anyone is experience the same as me. The sliced file from the OpenSlicer has an issue with the Validator, when there are islands to fix, it doenst fix them all automatically, i have to press "Start" multiple times to get all the islands fixed... it gets quite tedious some times. Is this a known issue?

Hey! I just got my printer set up on Friday and have had fun printing my mini from heroforge and a few other things. I'm having trouble with removing supports without it breaking something off of the mini itself. Are there any tips or tricks for this and is there a resin that is less brittle that I can try?
