I apologise in advance if this is asked often. Just ordered my photon :D looking for some tips tricks and or advice that you wish you knew about starting in. I've done a lot of research and familiar with FDM for the last 2 years, but I know this is a whole different animal. Just curious if there's any advice or recommendations for getting started.

I understand how to set the Z offset slash leveling the plate. right off the bat if I have any play in the z-axis I'm going to take it apart and tighten up the centric bearings. I've ordered some replacement FEP sheets just in case so I'm not stuck waiting.

I'm getting a bit of a warp on my prints.
Flat surfaces have a slight curve to them, like the bottom of mini or where I cut models in two.
So they don't glue together perfectly without sanding.

Any tips or ideas?

So my first siraya blu print was a flop.
Lots of little blobs on the bottom of the vat and no parts on the build plate. :(
Ran about 6-8 prints without having to re-level prior to this print.
Here's my exposure settings.
Any tips for working with this stuff?

Anybody tried a dental scaler with a sharpened tip for cutting off supports? There are Ultrasonic types at about 75GBP and up, and Pneumatic heads only for about 25GBP (+ 6.5GBP for a connection hose), requiring about 3bar air. I saw a video of someone who sharpened the tip of a piezo model and it seemed to work pretty well, but they are only about 20W compared to 40W or so for a pukka ultrasonic craft knife.

I love my Photon but after cleaning my model with 96 percent alcohol I get this white powder-ish stuff. I can scrape it off but it's just a pain in the ass to deal with. Any tips or fixes out there. Thanks!

I suspected I had some z wobble so ran the “not a cube” test. Yeah definitely some wobble.
I read up on any fixes, and did the “tighten excentric nut/roller” fix and ran the print again, no difference.
Sen Kun any tips would be greatly appreciated. Seems to be worst on the y face.
