I have a question regarding print size and supports. For example if you print something super tiny that at normal size would require supports. Do you have to put in microscopic supports or by that point is it so small that it can make up the difference and print fine anyway?

Reason I ask is I've been doing manual supports for some really small minis in B9 Creator, areas like the teeth and mouth where the supports end up so small I wonder if it makes a difference as the supports kinda fuse to the model in one big clump at that size anyway. By that point im using the head of a pin to try and pop them off / out.

So wondering if I can do away with those types of support and have things turn out fine at those kind of sizes.

Noobie Question: In the photon slicer; say I wanted something to intentionally print flat on the build plate. How do you do that? When I go to adding supports; it raises the model up and insists on putting supports under it.

So I had been doing some reading and a major component of Resin-away is Polypropylene-Glycol. I had seen a reddit post where resin printing solvents were being discussed and someone had mentioned that non-toxic antifreeze is a high source of the stuff. $13 for 4L, it also mentions its high in PG, wondering if it would actually work. Would probably be the cheapest / volume solvent I've seen yet if so.

Just got my Photon the other day and got all the supplies that I think I need. About to commence the first print ( a d20 ) and hope that this looks like it's correct.
