My Photon ran great for about 3 weeks. Then randomly during a print gave a data error from the USB. Now I have to plug in the usb multiple times before it will actually read. Tried a different card, no good either.
Anyone else have this issue?

Hey all, when printing multiple parts in one print is it better to group them together so their bases all touch or is it better to spread them out a little?

P.S. - anyone know a good modeler who would be willing to do some small parts for me, I am a basic hack and solidworks and don't think I have the skills to do what I want (miniature parts for warhammer 40k) any suggestions or help would be awesome

Quick question. Can you import multiple models into the slicer software. I am looking to print a squad of Space Marines and was wondering if it was possible to import multiple stl files, fill the tray and print 6 at once.

Just a tip for people with no UV lamp yet, using this little 9led UV lamp, cures everything in about 1-2 minutes. Overkill with the big nail uv-stations. :)

First prints pulled off!! Fan made minis for root at 60% 125% and 100% scale. Did these raised off of bed with the supports creator had between base and points on model, and used auto generated supports between base and raft. this machine!! Haven’t tried printing anything on platform yet! Love to hear any tips regarding printing miniatures between 15mm and 32mm scale! Didn’t even sand the edges of base before priming I was so excited was like Christmas waking up this morning ?

Working with Elegoo transparent- color is a bit more yellow than what I’ve seen on here (someone posted a Xenomorph earlier they printed with clear that looked phenomenal!).

But found a neat trick to clearing off the surface of any print lines and clear the final product! Sanding with 1000 grit sandpaper works wonders!
Left is my print after a quick hit with 1000 and 2000 grit and right is what I got out of the Photon.

Any tips on getting a clearer print? I’ve a suspicion I’ll have to invest some time in cleaning the vat out, possibly replace the film. Any other ideas?
