Can anyone point me in the direction of how to install the photonsters validator program, I downloaded it from github but I’m not so good with PC and don’t see an install file

So when following the suggested setting on the github page is there more than just resin setting for setting up chitubox? Because there's many other settings and I didn't see any other documentation on the github. Sorry if this is a stupid question I've never printed in resin before and I've never used chitubox. I'm setting up prints to print when my anycubic comes tomorrow.

UPDATE: Problem appears to be solved. Contacted Anycubic support and the sent me a different firmware. Not sure of the number on it I forgot to check. But that seems to have fixed my problem.

OK guys. I need help. I had a problem that required a firmware update. I am now using the most recent photon firmware. I did a test print last night and it worked perfectly. I tried to get another print (different file prepared for printing the same way). Now I get one layer printed just fine and it resets itself after freezing for about 10 seconds. This is part of the same problem I was having before the update.

EDIT: I am using the same thumb drive as before. It is the only file on the drive.

Update: Attempted a power cycle. No change. Not sure how long it needs to be unplugged for one to work. So I am now going to wait over night and try again in the morning.

It is extremely frustrating that there is no seeming solution to this and I am unable to find anything on the GITHUB about this.

Hello, i have 2 technical questions about Anycubic Photon.
- Light-off delay, how this parameter work? Is it always 0, and printer firmware ignore it? For me it seems like no matter what i wrote, it is always ignored, there is no delay other than time of Z movements. Are there any circumstances in which this parameter is taken into account by firmware?
- What is max object size that can be printed on Anycubic Photon? Anycubic on their web page said its printing volume is 115mm*65mm*155mm. ChituBox uses 120.96mm*68.04mm*150mm. Photonsters on their Doc page( https://github.com/Photonsters/anycubic-photon-docs ) have both this values. So what is real max object size i can print?

Hi all! ?

I'm a quite new Photon user and I have a problem. I did the Photon-resin-calibration from github and after switching back to print mode this happened.

The arrow buttons are upside down and I have a feeling that the Photon is getting hot when turned on.

I updated to the latest Anycubic firmware and still have the same problem.

Any suggestions how to fix this?

Hello guys,
I am an owner of Elegoo Mars and I observe unwanted model distortion on my printer. As these two printers are similar and you seem very experienced (the Photoner project on GitHub) I would like to ask you if you have experienced a similar problem on Photon and if you have resolved it.

My problem is with layer squashing (they are thinner than they supposed to be) near build plate and dense layers. I have described my experiments and their results in blog posts:

Friends don't let friends use Anycubic firmware version 4.2.19. It has multiple issues (fan cutting in/out at layer change, file browsing bugs). A couple of hours before Anycubic released it, they had a firmware 4.2.18 on their site. I managed to download that before they took it down. I spent a good portion of this evening testing, and can report that it has neither of the issues documented in the video. It should also have the fix for frame shearing although since there are no release notes we don't know for sure at this time. In any case I shared it to the github.

Want to share an interesting finding and solution with ya'll: So I had this issue (See pic) that I thought was frame shearing. I only started to get it with the 4.2.19 firmware (Which I installed because I wanted AA). I tried the EPAX X1 firmware and the issue persisted! (Which is why I think this isn't standard frame shearing because epax firmware is known to fix frame shearing for good). I then read on the Photonsters README that 4.011 is stable and "Known good" so I reverted to that (which fixed the issue, yay, but I lost AA again, boooo). So I went to Anycubic support and they asked me to try 4.2.17 and they sent it to me (funny enough, according to the included readme, it is a "Beta" version of 4.2.19), but I installed it and the issue seems to have gone away! and I have AA. I'm going to build out the heater with the guide on the GitHub site. I'm a bit of a newbie with wiring this stuff up. Is there a better guide that the wiring diagram? Hoping to get my printer all sorted this weekend with the heater and Simon Jackson's z rail upgrade!
