Dear all.
Printed deadpool flat to baseplate. Epic.
Printed companion cube. Support fail.
Added white grease.
I ran a print to test out some angles/support settings/hollowing. Some learning occured. Print settings were exactly the same for Mr Pool.
As the objects were cleaning kathon tape happened because there was moisture on my screen in one corner. (Could have been a drip during inept clean-up.. )
However I have graduated to z wobble. I didn't have any before this print.
Apart from "start at the top of the github list", any ideas what I may have unknowingly done differently to cause the issue? Or a cause to start looking at first? It only appears on some faces of the cubes.
Is there a quick and easy check for z wobble rather than failing a stripey print?

Hi. Please help a little.
I print test pattern ( https://github.com/altLab/photon-resin-calibration ) with Photocentric flexible resin ( https://photocentricgroup.com/uv-lcd-resin/ ). In center of print printing leaves very odd area, with no image at all (Gray print).
Also I test Wanhao STD Yellow resin, and there was none that kind of "spot". It works normally (Yellow print).

Hi all, thanks for the add.
I am due to receive my photon tomorrow and have been browsing the page as well the github.
My first mods will be a firmware update and the network interface. Is there a particular firmware that I should stick with from the github as the anycubic link seems to be broken?
Any other recommendations that are a must in order to achieve better success?
Open to any suggestions. Thanks.

I have completed and released a full CAD assembly of the original Photon. This was a weekend undertaking to build a complete model to share with the community for the purpose of designing addons and other mods. Below is a link to a STEP file of the assembly in Grabcad. Every component is represented and nearly every dimension was taken from the individual components using various metrology methods. Resolved tolerances on individual parts are small, enough to be used for production level design data, on full assembly relations a bit more. On parts that were difficult to measure or where my photon was maybe not near a nominal build I used my best judgement (having designed a few commercial products in my time). I hope this data can help others in developing community mods for the Photon and is for non-commercial use only. Vinicius Silva I have linked the photonsters github in the grabcad description, please feel free to link this grabcad link in the docs.

I am having some difficulty and could use some guidance. I just got my photon setup and am trying to run the resin cal from the github group.

When I try to execute the test mode gcode, I get a M-400 memory error. Same for the print mode gcode.

I can run the 50u 2-20 sec photon file, but it is failing. The base layers come out fine, but is blank after that. There is something stuck to the fep, but not much and not legible.

I am using a bottle of Anycubic basig grey that was opened about 6 months ago, it was tightly capped, but probably settled some. I have previously used this bottle of resin on a Wanhao D7+ and got great prints @25u with 65s base and 7.25s layers after that.

Is there something that I am missing? I've tried with a few different sandisk thumb drives, they get a different m- error and will not work. I am having slightly better luck with a thumb drive that looks identical to the orig for the photon, but came with the D7 plus.

Finally got a decent first print of a new cab I designed in Wanhao Grey. It took an exposure test to dial this in . But thanks to this great group and the excellent description on Github it was quite easy. Thank you guys for all the good work!

Temporary hack to validate .photons file for islands:
1)Save it as .photon in Photon Workshop (new slicer for Photon S)
2)Validate in PhotonFileValidator for possible problems
3)Save same file as .photons without changing any settings

Am i right?
(According to last message in https://github.com/Photonsters/PhotonFileValidator/issues/24 there is hope for native format soon)
