I'm trying to print a small replacement switch... but after about 8 tries I haven't had any success.

The supports keep disconnecting from the outter body of the switch and it comes out looking pretty bad.

Any ideas or recommendations would be greatly appreciated! This is with the Monoprice Rapid UV Clear

My printer started making a beeping noise every couple of seconds during a print today, and I have no idea what's wrong with it. Attached is a video of me running the UV detection test, and a dry run of a print. For some reason the rectangle on the UV test disappears almost immediately. Any ideas on how to fix it?

I'm trying to recycle my IPA by curing and then filtering it. When I expose it to UV it goes milky - presumably from cured resin in solution reacting with the IPA. Filtering this through kitchen towel doesn't work at all, it stays milky. Has anyone managed to get this back to clear IPA by filtering? Another option is recovery via distillation, has anyone tried that?

Is anybody interested in a lightly used photon? I bought one a while ago but have only used it a few times. I can provide pictures of successful prints upon request. I will also throw in a nice LED UV curing light. Located in the US. East coast...

I'm relatively new to all this. I've managed to work my way through the green resin that came with the printer. It was super-smashing-great, and then heard that the grey was pretty good.
I've done a couple of the prints with the grey. The first thing I noticed was it's WAY more sensitive to UV. I took it out for less than a few minutes and it developed a "skin" that had to be filtered off! The green did nothing like that!

Whats your favourite resin? I'm mostly doing 28mm miniatures and terrain

Quick Question, I got a 395nm uv torch, it was the highest nm I could find on Amazon but I believe our resins are 450nm? will it work to cure and if so, will curing clear resin prints with it retain their transparency or will I still need a clear coat laquer on top?

Has anybody thought about the real purpose of a fan behind a vat? It is blowing downwards onto some sponge thing that is claimed to be a charcoal filter but in reality has nothing to do with charcoal. It is so bad at being a filter of any kind that i can see through it.. Fan blows down to basement (what for?) The only thing that heats up during prints is UV LED and it has its own fan. My came with fan blowing away from heatsink.. had to flip it. More logical would be if the fan behibd vat would blow upwards sucking the warm air from basement to heat up printing chamber and it would need dust filter. So i have taken it out, and will cover the hole with a printed lid. Later I will install a heater with thermostat.

Hi everyone, thx for accepting me in this group.
I'm now a proud owner of the anycubic photon. I've printed only 2 miniatures for the moment and I'm really happy with the result but I have some questions..

How do you clean your miniatures after printing? I put it in isopropyl alcohol for 30 seconds and put it under a nail uv lamp for 2 minutes. Is this the right or best way to clean them?

Do you guys have any advice or tips for me? I just want to print miniatures so I can paint them afterwards.

Thanks
