Hi everyone,
I get my Photon S few days ago and my first print (the cube test) and it ended up very well! Before getting my printer I watch all the topics about cleaning the vat and I saw very opposite opinions about it: using IPA or not, use microfiber...
So I modelised a mold to create a silicon spatula to clean as much resin as possible without scratching the fep. And it's working pretty nicely! All can be print on a FDM or resin printer.
I will put the files on Thingiverse if it interests few people.

new with Anycubic photon S. I think my first print is a disaster, so any help will be gratefull.

I used the default config with Exposure time of 8s, off time 1s. Isopropyl alcohol wasing at finish and UV light and end.

I see a lot of lines (looks like a bad FDM) :-(

It is supposed to be translucent green, and not white

Having lots of fun. Amazed how fine it can print...but...if I try the spinny thing that tests how small a gap it can print, results are worse than my fdm printer. Couldn’t even get 0.4mm gap to move. Exposure is 8 secs. Is there some other parameter that needs tweaking?

Beautiful print all the way up to that last fucking ear starting to feel like I’m not gonna be able to get much off this proton... so much resin Lostprophets is harder than fdm

Hello hive mind. Stupid question just wandering when doing lithos, is there a need to alter the stl setting in litho maker or can they remain the same for both FDM/SLA. (The pocture to litho i mean, not the slicers)

Righto, to check if I had my Photon S dialed in after upgrading to v5.something of the firmware I decided to print something else. Downloads Ameralabs Town and sliced it with the settings used for the Cube. Can you tell I am used to the big bed of my FDM printer? ;-) 5eurocent for scale. Out of Banana Error 707...

Hi im a new photon s owner. Ive been printing for years with fdm printers but this is my first sla printer. Ive been trying for days to amke a sucessfull print with no luck. The best i can get is a small layer fused to the bottom of the vat nothing sticks to the build plate. i have tried adjusting the exposure. I leveled and releveled the bed. I changed the plastic at the bottom of the vat because some have said that the plastic that comes preinstalled can cause issues. I even removed the built plate and the vat and fired up a print to see if the dlp is lighting up and it is though it dosnt seem to bright. im not sure how bright it should be. my last attempt was to try the flint read method of leveling and im noticing when i have the vat installed and i try and bring the bed down just till the wobble in the plate is goes with the set screw loose it reaches the bottom possible z and starts to grind and the build plate still had room to wobble. do you guys have anymore suggestions or is it time to rma the printer?

Is there a guide somewhere on how to configure Prusa Slicer to work with the Anycubic Photon? It seems like there are a lot of settings that pertain to FDM printers.

Also, where is the auto-orient function hiding?

P.S.A. for all those who get prints stuck to there bed.

Have you tried a chizzle set flat on build plate and a light tap of a hammer?

I use this method and am yet to gouge my plate, even if the print doesn't pop right off it lifts a corner so I can use my putty knife to remove the part completely.

As I've used this method for both fdm and resin printers just figure would share as it's save me fighting to remove prints
