Newest prints for a current D&D campaign. Printed this Dragonborn Cleric for a friend in the campaign, as well as an Ankheg to torment the players. Both models were printed with Anycubic translucent green, then primed with Army Painter Uniform Grey. The Dragonborn model is from HeroForge and the Ankheg is from Thingiverse.

Newest print! Made a modification to a model for a fellow DM who was getting nostalgic over a past campaigns fallen enemy lol. Poor Mind Flayer lost an arm to a character who turned into an Allosaurus lol ? Made with Anycubic Green Translucent resin, then painted with Army Painter Matte black spray paint. My painting skills still need work lol ?

What is the best "peel and retract" speeds with the new firmware update? What is too fast and what is too slow?

Does it really matter if the bottle cap I use when replacing the FEP isn't exactly 13mm like Anycubic suggests? What does everyone else use?

What is the best way to properly scale a 3D model? I am trying to figure out how to either scale up or down the model to work with my existing HeroForge minis. I am new to printing minis for my current D&D campaign. Sorry if this has already been answered somewhere, and I just haven't found it.

I was curious if anyone has replaced the USB stick that came with the Photon, and if so what brand and capacity did you use?

Just printed this amazing Beholder by Black_Omen for a D&D campaign I am running! Scaled it down to about 65% from it's original 90mm scale. I printed the full model and decided not to try printing pieces separately. Turned out amazing! I love it, and my players are going to freak out when they encounter it! Just needs a good paint job now.

New here, and this is my 2nd attempt with the Photon to make figures for my D&D campaign. They came out way better than I was expecting, I have a lot left to learn and tweak to make them come out even better. I put one coat of primer on them already, still need to work on that as well..lol! These were from HeroForge, but I'm always looking for more places to get awesome minis from to print. ?

Hey everyone, I just bought the Anycubic Photon, and I am trying to make sure I get it set up correctly for my first print. I am mainly going to be using it to produce D&D minis for our campaigns. I just had a few initial questions, like what is the best orientation to print minis? I've read that it's better to print them at a 45 degree angle, or is it better to print them laying down? I'm also very new to the slicing software, so should I just stick with the Anycubic software or should I try my hand with Meshmixer? Sorry for so many noob questions. I am really excited about what this printer can do, and it is my first foray into the 3D printing space. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
