Latest project i designed and printed last weekend.
I am very spanned to see this evening how it turned out.

It is a scale 1/64 Hotwheels Interior for the 69 Stingray which i converted years ago to a Mako Shark Corvette.

If all went well i will model also the chassis and body in 3D to have a full kit.
Depends how well the interior fits into the standard Hotwheels chassis and body. Hope wont have to redo some stuff. Measured all before i draw it in 3D.

You can go tiny with the Photon.
This are the bikes i created, reduced to scale 1/64.
As reference a picture of one of them in bigger scale.

Resin: Anycubic black
Settings: 0.02mm layerheight at 7.5 seconds exposuretime.

Latest model i did.
ROLLIN STEAMER
Only parts not modelled by me is the radial engine and Winchester.
Finally it will be a steampunk themed chopper.
The weaponry can be taken out of the holsters.

It will get a stand in the same mechanica style.

Resin used was Anycubic black.
Parameters:
6 baselayers with 60 seconds
8.5 seconds exposure
0.02mm layerhight

Supports mostly manually added in standard slicer.

Was a pain in the ...... to remove the supports.
Now painting is the next step.

Anybody who did get good results with Monocure black ?
Have to sell 1,5 Liters Monocure black and 0,5 liters Monocure clear.
Will give it away (only EU-countries) for half the real price.
It's brand new, less then 1 month old.

Reason is i didnt manage to achieve my desired results, so i ordered today 2 liters of Anycubic black.

Had to run a exposure test as i had some issues with detail with the Monocure Rapid.

The torn test is 25u and the other 50u.

IHope some rxperts can tell me their opinion were the sweetspot of exposure is.

I need your help !

In lack of posibility here in Romania i switched from Anycubic black to Monocure Rapid black.
Purchased 2 Liters of it.

With Anycubic all my prints were super crisp in detail.
With Monocure i didnt had failures in mechanical terms, but simply the lack a lot of detail.

Went with 0.02 layerhight and 8.5/9.5/10 seconds exposure. Results not as good as with Anycubic resin.

Went with 0.04 layerhight and 10/12 seconds exposure. Again not satisfying. Looked overcured.

What are your experiences in comparison of this 2 resins ?
I'm allmost at the point to scrap 1,5 liter and get me Anycubic !

Rant !

You guys create so much cool stuff.
After so many hours work you trust in "cheap" slicer-software ?
Why you spend so much time creating with the coolest 3D-programms and at the finish-line you quit your manual work and go cheap.
Sorry, but i dont get it.
Invest those extra 2 - 3 hours of manual adding supports to obtain the best result !

How you imagine a software can do the job better then you who provably spent MANY hours at creating a model and knowing all overhangs ?

The Habermann-Chopper is almost ready to go to a new home.
Aside basic motorparts, fork and figure all modelled by myself and printed with the Anycubic Photon.

What remains is painting the figure and do some touch-ups on the base.
Saturday all be ready to wrapped up.

Frame, Fork, Seat and shifter-bar came out pretty good on my Habermann Chopper.
Settings used:
Monocure Rapid black
6 baselayers with 80 sec
0.03 layer hight
8.5 sec exposure
Offtime standard

Now just waiting the print with enginge and wheels get finished.
The engine was a bightmare to add supports. Each rip of the cilinderhead needed it's own support.
