After lots of stalling and debating I have finally ordered a Photon-S.

What else is a good starting package to have ready upon it's arrival ? Like curing chamber, gloves sort of things. I would appreciate links if it is at all allowed :)

I am struggling with the Photon-S, it says here 100x100x200 print size yet I'm told it's no larger then the Photon.

Could some one, anyone, please make a list of +s Vs -s between the Photon and Photon S :)

Thank you for any one that does :)

*Edit* I have yet to buy a Photon or S I was waiting for the S.

Whats the sorts of prices people are paying ?

New and second hand either is fine for me.

My second post in as many days :) since I joined.

I have been "tinkering" with Tinklercad to make models to print out, nothing fancy stuff like walkways for Necromunda, and "simple" props for roleplay games.

I love Tinkercad it's simple and very easy to use, but I do find it some what "clunky" and perhaps too simple ? Like can I add texture to models or do I have to manually create it ? As I am at that sort of stage where I'd like to make things that are more then a series of shapes stuck together.

What would people recomend as a next step for a CAD program from Tinkercad, also do people still use a mouse to design or is every one using a graphics tablet and pen ?

Again Thank you for any input I very much appreciate it.

Though I do not own one yet :) I am really here after all your enthusiastic advice.

I might be about to back a Kickstarter for a 3D printer....literally 24 to go from this post. But I first became aware of resin printers from seeing a Anycubic Photon print.

I have a few pressing, and now seemingly urgent questions, to put to you're collective hive mind :)

When I see pictures of prints, both in here and other 3D groups of the Photon, why are some smooth textured and some with lines ? Is this a common flaw in prints or is it to do with what resin/print speed it comes out at, slicing etc ?

If you were to say 1 good thing and 1 bad thing about the photon what would they be ?

I do appreciate any input from any of you I came here for what I hope is a none sanctioned unbiased view of the Anycubic Photon as my nerves are strecthed as far as they can be about the Kickstarter so sell me the Photon guys please :)
