I just noticed my UV light has a range of 395-400, and elegoo activates at 405....

Am I undercooking/underpowered for curing properly? I just noticed my UV light has a range of 395-400, and elegoo activates at 405....

Back to the drawing board

Printed what I thought would be the final set of grips and was dismayed to see a majority of the relief failed!

Not sure how I should redesign the inlay, but I may try hollowing out the grip and making a backing/insert that fits into it.

One of the more pressing issues I run into on my prints though is residue that refuses to clean up without sanding! I’ve tried cleaning with an ultrasonic cleaner and 91% IPA and longer curing, but it’s like a parts refuse to clean up. Any solutions?

Working with Elegoo transparent- color is a bit more yellow than what I’ve seen on here (someone posted a Xenomorph earlier they printed with clear that looked phenomenal!).

But found a neat trick to clearing off the surface of any print lines and clear the final product! Sanding with 1000 grit sandpaper works wonders!
Left is my print after a quick hit with 1000 and 2000 grit and right is what I got out of the Photon.

Any tips on getting a clearer print? I’ve a suspicion I’ll have to invest some time in cleaning the vat out, possibly replace the film. Any other ideas?

Can anyone point me to what needs to be done to resolve this issue? Been having this happen randomly on recent prints, and have already swapped the FEP film, ran through leveling, and made sure I was using the same settings as on the google sheet.

Ideas?
