As promised I'm back today with the "drooly" version of the Beholder proxy. You will notice (maybe) three things different from my print of the Beholder proxy yesterday. 1): I printed the flight stand separately in clear resin so it would be less noticeable; 2) I made my own base for the drooly version...why? Because it's 3d printing and I can! Actually I wanted the chests slightly bigger than what Andrea had sculpted so I just grabbed some chests from other Patreons and loaded them onto a free base to test it out...and 3) I primed that base because I wanted to do it before gluing my clear flight stand in place...

Test print for part of next month's release from Artisan Guild. Will post a variation tomorrow with a big drooling tongue. Also, working with clear resin for the first time to try and make the flight stand "invisible", well, less visible...so if that turns out well the pics tomorrow could be very cool!

I've heard/seen that clear resin can yellow pretty quickly (maybe prevented a bit by a UV proof finishing spray like Krylon). Would it help to mix like 10%(or 5%) Siraya Blue (I know will color it a tiny bit blue/green) so it has a bit of color to it? Would this prevent any potential yellowing?

Hot off my Photon! A D&D Balor, which has a sword and whip, and is supposed to be about 12-15 feet tall. So this one fits nicely on a 75mm base, which is right for DnD Huge size. I had to scale i down to 60% for this the original file is huge!

PS - Figure for scale is a Nolzur's Elf Rogue, he's about 32mm to the eyes and 36mm tall.

PPS - You might notice that the horn on the right side of his head looks odd. My first print it failed totally my fault so I had to reprint it and glue on. Also, I haven't gap-filled any of the joints with greenstuff yet which I will do of course before I paint. The model prints as, head, legs, torso, left arm, right arm, tail, weapons, all split and keyed...
