That feeling when you drop the Titan you’ve been working on....

Most of the breaks were at glued spots. The only break in resin was a thin piece done in Siraya Fast. All of the Siraya Blu remained in one piece.

Ok, not really Photon related, but I’ll try anyway....

I turned on my UV light curing chamber that I made with strip lights, and has worked great for months....and it seems to be....not UV? The lights turn on, but only has a very slight purple tint. I feel like it just yesterday it was A LOT stronger. Is that even possible? Is it all in my imagination?

So Im trying (for the second time) Siraya Blu. Mostly only used Anycubic Green prior. Removing things from the build plate....Anycubic Green slides right off. The Siraya Blu sticks horribly! I've got that blue and orange plastic razor that gets linked here all the time, and on average, I am snapping two of it's razorblades per piece removed from the build plate, after never snapping one before with the Anycubic Green!

Is this just a known side effect of Siraya Blu, or should I be reducing the bottom exposure and/or layer count?

Current settings for the bottom layers are 50s exposure, seven layers.

Two different issues, but a solution for either one will work!

I tried printing these bases both flat on the plate and angled on a platform.

The ones flat on the build plate "squished" - the file is 2mm tall on the Z axis but they ended up printing a little under 1.5mm tall and the inserts were extra shallow as a result.

The ones printed at an angle ended up curved and thus don't lie flat.

Ideas to fix either or both?

I’d like to add some kind of heating to my printer so I can use the Siraya resins better. I’ve seen all sorts of great mods, but they all involve wiring, drilling, and other skills that I’m quite prepared to use.

Has anyone had success with a “plug and play” option? I’m envisioning maybe like a reptile heater, or some kind of small thing I can just stick in the corner behind the vat?

This token insert pushing the limits of the build plate...think it'll work? Also, I can't angle it, but it looks like it should be able to print flat on the plate without supports?

This piece is VERY thin. It looked intact prior to IPA bath, so not sure if the IPA killed it or not.

What are options for strengthening super thing parts? Raise/lower exposure?

If I wanted to thicken the part in the file itself, what’s the best place to start to learn that skill?

What causes a model to split in the middle like this? Only noticed it with hollowed models...

Z wobble? Or something else? Only noticing it in the circled spots, other facings are fine.

Any suggestions on the best way to print this piece? The problem I ran into is that the "bottom armpits" were collecting uncured resin and becoming a blob. But I don't want to invert it, because the top will be the most visible piece and I dont want to lose the detail or add support divets there. Im thinking the best idea might be to slice it in half horizontally and try to glue the halves together, but I haven't had the best luck with that method in the past.
