LCD dying soon ?
I have recently experienced strange artifacts near the end of a 15 hour print job:
It appears that those pixels that were active all the way throughout the complete printing (namely the columns of the supports) somehow behaved as dead pixels at the end of the printing, and simply left holes in the product, exacty aligned with the previous support columns.

Is this the sign of my LCD dying soon?

(Printer is more than a year old, after 3-4 kilograms of resin processed at usually 20 degrees ambient temperature)

Screen test does not show black pixels, and I also tried a short printjob after this and I have not noticed anything strange. Photon file also validated well, no sign of the mentioned holes. 翻譯年糕

Temperature question

I see the importance of printing temperature.
However, it's unclear (and confusing) that some people mention machine temperature, some talk about ambient temperature, others (and manufacturers too) talk about resin temperature.

These are three very different things.
E.g. my workshop is kept at 20 degrees celsius.
When running print jobs continuously, my machine gets up to about 25 degrees celsius, while the resin settles at about 30 degrees celsius.

My gut feeling tells that for polymerization, the resin temperature is what really counts. But then why are lots of people talking about ambient temp?

Green translucent resin, anyone?

Dear fellow photonsters,
I'm in desperate need of translucent green... I ordered from Anycubic two weeks ago (instant paid), and today they tell me it's out of stock :(

Anyone who has some leftover 0.5-1 liter bottle who would sell and also be willing to ship it to me within Europe? Would pay with PayPal.

Also, if anyone knows a very similar resin that is available in EU, please let me know.

Thanks a lot for your help!

Hi everyone!
I am mostly printing engineering prototypes on my Photon (non S), so precision is my main priority.

A: can you suggest alternative resins, which don't exhibit the same 1-2 pixel light scattering/overexposure (hence +0.05-0.1 mm thickness in x/y directions) like the standard AC resins do?

B: better would be a slicer that supports compensation for this effect, even better with compensation for uneven UV power distribution throughout the print area.
(AA is also a big plus)
(Photon file post-processing may also be okay, but the solutions I found on the Git are not recommended due to possible damage)

Any ideas and comments are much welcome and appreciated.

Thanks!
